It’s a rare chance to have an Elixir event that’s in a Japan-friendly time zone - looking forward to attending this

This is exciting for my #ElixirLang peeps github.com/elixir-lang/...

Parents accountability hack: Just agreed with my 6 year old that if I stick to my New Year’s resolution for 3 months he gets the toy he wants. He’s already reminded me 3 times today.

"From upcoming Elixir 1.18 > For example, you can invoke IEx.configure(auto_reload: true) and IEx will automatically reload modules changed elsewhere, either by a separate terminal or your IDE. This is beautiful! 😍 #ElixirLang" @hugobarauna.com

Saw @nan.fyi share this on Twitter and I just had to share it over here. It’s so beautiful. lightnote.co

Just tried hexdocs.pm/mimic for mocking in #ElixirLang after recommendations from @pepicrft.bsky.social and @winchester.dev and so far it’s been very easy to get started with. Will need to use it a bit more in anger but so far so good!

I thought this was a point very well made by @redrapids.bsky.social on the significance of typed programming languages in the age of AI: pca.st/episode/4563... #ElixirLang

It's kinda hard to summarize but this talk about building a system with Elixir/Erlang without even using a database or writing to disk and all the incredible things that came out of it is well worth a watch www.youtube.com/watch?v=pQ0C... #myelixirstatus

This is super useful!

apparently the new type system for elixir found dead code in live view source code, that's awesome!

Recently I’ve really been enjoying the localfirst.fm podcast by @schickling.dev Some really interesting things happening in this space with CRDTs to resolve sync. Highly recommend checking it out.

Elixir and BEAM starter pack. Raise your hand if you post about Elixir or any BEAM languages. #ElixirLang go.bsky.app/2dPJ7NM

Tell me again how it's good to outsource your auth to some private company you can't audit.

Finally got my hands on the new Pragmatic Studio Phoenix course - looking forward to getting stuck in! pragmaticstudio.com/phoenix #Elixir
