BREAKING: We’re urging a federal judge to end ICE’s continued abuses at Camp East Montana. For over a year, people have endured unhygienic conditions, medical neglect, guard violence, and degrading treatment at this detention camp located on the Fort Bliss military base.

Two pages. The same story. SNAP cuts: American children are losing food assistance and going hungry. USAID gutted: Children overseas are dying after humanitarian aid was cut. History won’t remember the excuses. It’ll remember who let children suffer. #RepublicansStarveChildren

Ms. Rachel: As the American Academy of Pediatrics says, there is no safe amount of time for a child to be in detention. The Dilley immigration detention center must be shut down. We need to end the cruel policies of family detention and family separation.

BREAKING: The House of Representatives just voted to require teachers to forcibly out transgender youth against their will. Censoring "gender ideology" does nothing to advance the basic promise that every child deserves the same opportunity to thrive, and that includes transgender students.

It is wrong and criminal for government agents to kidnap someone, send them to die in a concentration camp, and disappear them, regardless of immigration status. But it's still worth noting she has a green card. The government doesn't even pretend this is about deporting undocumented people.

Remember: Wealth cannot be separated from power. We're seeing in real time how the extreme concentration of wealth is distorting our politics, rigging markets, and granting unprecedented power to a handful of people. Taxing the rich isn't just an economic issue, it's a defense of our democracy.

They aren't giving away their wealth, but they are pumping it into our elections. The concentration of wealth in the hands of a few isn't just bad for our economy. It's corrosive to our democracy. When the super-rich control our political system, regular people don't have a voice.

The 9/11 Security Fee collects $4.49 billion annually from passengers sold as TSA funding. Congress can legally redirect it anytime and has since 2013. Either make it a protected trust fund Congress cannot touch or abolish it. You cannot charge passengers for security and spend it on the deficit.

Been saying it for a year now. And not as a guess, either: almost every single action taken by Trump since January 20, 2025 has in some way, small or large, advanced the causing of ending our democracy. He is not hiding what he plans. For some reason media has just been tepid in reporting on it.

Some families stop fighting their cases, even when they have valid claims to stay in the U.S., because they are so desperate to leave detention centers like Dilley, where families have reported inedible food and poor medical care. So they give up and allow the government to deport them.
