with sloppy (but convincing enough) AI vibeclones on the rise, developers now face a future in which a steady stream of pre-release videos, demos, and playtests—the only reliable way to promote and build community—could be their game’s undoing

OpenJazz has a Mac build that's still good for Big Sur. Unfortunately it is Smart and automatically pixel doubles for Retina displays, on top of the scaling the game already does. So this is running on "just" 2560x1440. Which is still plenty to see a very well aged message in E1M2.

Hiii world. I’m still alive. I haven’t posted much lately. I became a lawyer and lost all my free time. 😭 so no new art sadly. But I still wanted to celebrate Nei’s birthday! It’s like a holy holiday for us classic PS fans. #ネイ生誕祭 Throwback Nei and Neifirst art from 2023

Apart from the audience surrogate character, I don't really understand why people don't like the idea of Golden Axe as a goofy cartoon. It's pretty much like the saturday morning cartoons based on video games we used to get.

Toby Fox being the Alex Hirsch of videogames over here. The fan community speculating, theorizing and picking at every little morsel of lore that we get really reminds me of the way Gravity Falls was picked apart as well, at the time. You love to see it.
