I was a wee lad obsessed with Gary Numan, Heaven 17, Human League, Kraftwerk, and Japan, and dreamed of making that sort of music, but the dream kind of faded away, revisited a few times but never quite realised. Now I've hobbled together a wee studio in which to retire, happy! That'll do, pig.

I torture myself by listening to 5 Live of a morning, and it's astonishing how many people think immigrants can come into the country and claim every benefit. It's less astonishing when you hear a Reform politician say that is the case without the presenter challenging them.

Iceland is not in the EU, but it is a member of the Schengen area. It’s also a member of the European Free Trade Association (EFTA) and is part of the Single Market, meaning it enjoys freedom of movement with the EU. Good to know that doesn’t impact their independence. Maybe we should try it, Nige.
