what's up #PortfolioDay! i'm morgan and i do book covers, album covers, art for TTRPGs, poster art and moreeeee you can view my full body of work at mxmorgan.com

The amount of responses was overwhelming and it was hard to choose between so many amazingly skilled artists, but I've found someone to work with! Thanks to all of you who shared this post and offered your talents! (and if I didn't reply, sorry!)

and much like in game dev, my identity hinges on legacy artifacts that i dare not touch because i'm pretty sure something will break if i do

Being queer is kinda like being a gamedev in that most days you’re just figuring it out as you go

Always be wary of the technical/non-technical-person divide; it's a fucked power dynamic. Being more "technical" should not put you in charge or beyond the scrutiny of the artists and designers and audio people and animators and everyone else

Every time I see talk about accessibility, it's about people with physical limitations. And that's good to make your game accessible to them. But to me, accessibility is also making your game accessible to people who can't afford a new computer. Efficiency is accessibility. #indiegamedev #solodev

new video in which the Leftist Cooks remind us that we're all just playing pretend at this 'adult' thing. you know, like kids.

youtu.be/iy53s5b3xkA New video, in which the Leftist Cooks analyse annoying comments & the nature of insults, explore the idea of children as a disenfranchised cohort, and give an introduction to the fascinating anti-colonial world of philosophical Childism.

like when you were a kid, did you ever meet another kid who just stood to the side, snorting at all things whimsical and playful, acting like they were better than you by virtue of being as boring as it is possible for a child to be? that's all of us now. (it was also me as a kid, live and learn)

yep i'm quitting lmao

not for the first time, i'm seriously considering walking away from my uni and a future career in game dev. but this time feels like a turning point in my psyche; like i might be so much happier elsewhere. might try my hand at teaching music
