"My pants demonstrate an intent to conceal my balls, and it's up to me if I decide to conceal my balls." - Linus Sebastian, on France's claim that GrapheneOS is used by people who want to 'conceal' their data.

Mutahar from SomeOrdinaryGamers on GrapheneOS: - if it pisses off the government to the point where they're asking you to put in backdoors, and you tell them "to fuck off", and then you get labeled as the "criminal friendly phone", then you're probably doing something right youtu.be/jkhMx9hEsK0

GrapheneOS can't stop winning πŸ’ͺ

404 Media@404media.co

Someone recently managed to get on a Microsoft Teams call with representatives from phone hacking company Cellebrite, and then leaked a screenshot of the company’s capabilities against many Google Pixel phones πŸ”— www.404media.co/someone-snuc...

there are some apps that work better on GrapheneOS, and worse on stock Pixel Android

leah nicole@littlemisssynth.bsky.social

Why should we be allowing that the LibreLink app for FreeStyle Libre glucose sensors has broken alarms and flaky NFC on Google’s Pixel software, and yet it works flawlessly on @grapheneos.org's distro with the exact same app? When people's lives could be at risk due to this, stuff must "just work".

difficult to call an OS secure when it has no proper app sandboxing, memory tagging, no proper hardware TPM/secure element support, etc free and open source? definitely! secure? only relative to other desktop OSes at best if you need security on a mobile device - grapheneOS would fit much better

So far one of the best things about GrapheneOS is that holding down the power button opens the shutdown menu (as it used to on Android before Google fully embraced shoving shit sandwiches down users' throats)

my fellow GrapheneOS enjoyers let's make a list of apps that have made a conscious decision to officially support GrapheneOS almost all Android apps work fine on GrapheneOS, but some have decided to go an extra mile to target the private and secure OS

a Swiss banking app now officially supports GrapheneOS πŸ₯³β€οΈβ€πŸ”₯

GrapheneOS@grapheneos.org

Swissquote has launched official support for GrapheneOS for their main app instead of it only being available for Yuh: play.google.com/store/apps/d... > What’s new > - We now officially support GrapheneOS! > - Bug fixes and minor improvements They're verifying GrapheneOS via hardware attestation.

Android Authority article about GrapheneOS, let's gooo πŸ₯³β€οΈβ€πŸ”₯

We need testers

GrapheneOS@grapheneos.org

We need help testing our experimental Android 16 support. If you have a spare 6th, 7th, 8th or 9th generation Pixel, you can help us test early builds for Android 16 soon. You can join our testing chat room via Matrix or Discord if you want to help. grapheneos.org/contact#comm....

Just donated to @grapheneos.org because they’re doing amazing work, and it hit me: Supporting indie hackers and open-source projects hits differently when you’re indie hacking too. You really feel the struggle of running a digital product and how tough it is to push through.

Replying to @matthewdgreen.bsky.social

Every pixel owner should simply switch to GrapheneOS

grapheneos don't give a shit that my carrier says I don't have "hotspot data" and let's me use hotspot anyways :neocat_happy:

GrapheneOS users, keep pushing for your right to run apps πŸ”₯ Does your favorite app require Play Integrity API? Write a review on their Play Store page! Let them know that they are hurting legitimate users by using Play Integrity API Together we can win this battle ✊

GrapheneOS@grapheneos.org

Yuh app from Swissquote temporarily disabled Play Integrity API enforcement due to complaints from GrapheneOS users and is reimplementing their security checks with support for GrapheneOS based on grapheneos.org/articles/att.... We removed it from the list of apps banning GrapheneOS.

Enumerating Badness is stupid! imagine you're throwing a party at your place since you don't want "bad people" to enter your house, you hire a security guard with a blacklist anyone who's not on that blacklist can enter your house do you see the problem here?

Oops ! I did it 😁 I would be very happy to provide feedback to those who are interested in @grapheneos.org Zero negative points after installing my apps (including banking ones) and testing geolocation on a moutain trail with OpenTrack. #Degooglisons #OpenSource #FreeSoftware #AlterNativeMobile

Origami cicada, designed and folded by me from one square of paper. I've designed about 4 or 5 cicadas over the past 20 years, but this one has that vibe I was looking for. The timing was right since I completed it last year, during the historic cicada emergence. #origami #cicada #insect
