Following my last post. I have created a survey about the multimesh class/node in #godotengine. Please feel free to respond if you are interested :) I have tried to ask questions that are as open-ended as possible so as not to steer responses in a particular direction) forms.gle/6KFdjSeKgxUd...

forms.gleMultimesh node use case surveyThis form would help me determine and better understand the general usage and needs of Godot users related to this node. Note: This survey covers both 2D and 3D use cases for multimesh nodes.

I am considering preparing a proposal for a MultiMeshEditor node in Godot. I truly believe that the engine needs a basic option to use multimesh nodes, with limited functionality (unlike existing plugins).

You should use this awesome #godotEngine addon, animating Control even in Containers, without a single line of code! #indiedev #gamedev

Finally took the time to write the full documentation for this tool, as well as a bunch of QoL features. There's also a few more example scenes, complete with text explanations of what it can do, go check it out! #godotengine #ui #addon

Found an easy way to chain arbitrary UI animations together, and also figured out how to detect an ancestor container resorting the child nodes ๐Ÿ˜„ (but now it's broken when the animated controls are NOT in a container u_u) #GodotEngine

Hey #GodotEngine devs! How do you animate your control nodes? Especially the ones inside containers? Do you just manually tween them through code and hope the layout doesn't reset? or is there a more convenient option? The only few add-ons I've tried are either too restricting, or too involved...

Hello there! ๐Ÿ‘‹ I'm making free open source add-ons for #GodotEngine Like this one, that lets you drop your models anywhere in your scenes. It's all procedural and everything you see in this video is placed using ProtonScatter!

It's useful if you have a lot of stuff to place in small or medium sized scenes. Don't use it to place grass on big open worlds, your terrain tool probably comes with better solutions for that ! You can grab it from the Asset library, or from Github: github.com/HungryProton...
