Hit 50 sales, which for me, is incredibly rad. Thanks to every one of you that’s read, shared, reviewed, or at least thought about doing one of those things. 🫡 #booksky

If you're new to #Scriptsky and are like, what the heck is a #SpecScriptShoutout? It's basically a way to signal boost peer scripts you're recently read. Peer feedback is crucial to improving your work and a great way to build a network of other writers. I'm going to try to do more shoutouts

The reviews have been so much better at blurbing my book than me: “This is a rom-com disguised as a thriller disguised as a memoir.” “A fun not really a heist, not really a romance, definitely a comedy.” “A delightful little caper with a great twist!! Funny and fun” #booksky

We somehow lost our daughter’s Halloween costume. It’s vanished. which is fun for Halloween and very not fun for an 8 year old who has been planning all week to try it on last night. 😵‍💫

#firstpagefriday #scriptsky posting page 1 of Monitor:Crush Depth as I await news on 2 fronts. Its official option agreement AND the attachment of a director with feature film and NETFLIX original episode credits! I share because if I were superstitious I would be paralyzed with fear.

I might be MIA (or AWOL or SOL or WTF) but that does not absolve YOU from your responsibilities. It’s #FirstPageFriday and I EXPECT ENTERTAINMENT, PEOPLE. AMUSEMENT. BEMUSEMENT. Post something or risk my wrath. #Scriptsky

I’m finding Threads is very good for randomly getting a ton of engagement from strangers you’ll never see or hear from again.

My daughter has a nightlight that projects inspirational phrases on the wall like “dream big” “keep smiling” and my personal favorite “give up”

Uh yeah, I think stars are back. Actor Domhnall Gleeson talks about season two of “The Paper,” the movie “The Incomer,” as well as how he wound up dancing in a Taylor Swift music video. Then, labor organizer Chuckslatly Slatty. Plus hotelier Johnny Spiderwebs is ready for spooky season!

I only ever sell books when I post about them if you ever find yourself feeling like I post about my book too much.

Still holding strong above 4 stars after goodreads introduced partial stars 🙏

Another week rolls over and slides beneath the waves, which means it's time to play #FirstPageFriday. Or #FunPageFriday if you're not into that whole "opening scene" thing. Share a page of YOUR writing (none of that AI stuff, please) and maybe inspire your peers and friends. It's free. #ScriptSky

My biggest writing hack is not knowing how commas work at all. So much so that their misuse appears to be stylistic choice. #scriptsky

The hours I spent flipping through this book and annoying my parents with all the facts I was learning ❤️

On This Day in Simpsons History@dailysimpsons.bsky.social

On October 3, 1997, “The Simpsons: A Complete Guide to Our Favorite Family,” an episode guide covering the first eight seasons of the show, was first published by @harpercollins.bsky.social.

Just had a flashback to when all my friends went to see Anchorman opening weekend without me, the most quoatable movie of all time, and I just didn’t understand anyone’s references for weeks.

The problem with teaching my children they can look at me to see if they should be scared or not is sometimes the bug you think is a crawler turns out to be a flyer. 😱

Lisa Gilroy in the A-block! 🚨 She discusses her roles on Apple TV’s “Brothers” and NBC’s “The Paper,” along with dishing some Hollywood inside scoopa-loopa-ding-dong. Then, Scott’s neighbor, Criminy From Coople Street, Jersey Mike returns, and Cockroach Rick is back!!

Oh I hope one of the options is stare at the problem for like 8 hours knowing you should say something but if you put it off long enough someone else might bring it up instead…

Nate Federman@natefederman.bsky.social

If you’re a TV writer (or doing any collaborative creative job) you will encounter problems in other people’s work. So this week’s #Scriptsky #Screenwriting thread is about THE THREE WAYS OF DEALING WITH SOMEONE ELSE’S ISSUE. Two options will lead to more problems and one will keep you employed.

If you have a favorite thing I've written? I bet this moment of uncertainty happened while writing it. We all struggle, fellow buddies. 🖤🩶🤍💜

LRR.rocks@lrrrocks.bsky.social

Every author you admire has sat looking at their screen page, unsure if the sentence in front of them was good enough. That uncertainty didn't disqualify them from finishing the book, and it doesn't disqualify you either.

Took off work yesterday just so I could clean out my daughter’s closet that’s been full of baby things for the past 5 years. PTO as a parent is fun!
