Every now and again (and even more so, as of late), I feel like I’m out of step with the world I inhabit. Not the whole world; I feel the zeitgeist like a wind at my back. No, I mean a narrower me-world; one bounded by the limits of my own perception and my capacity for distinction.

…then there’s some sort of horizon, or maybe perspective, I have that they don’t. It’s my bit of a boon snatched from envy. Maybe I’m better at ‘looking and thinking’ than I am ‘living and doing.’ If you’re out of step, the world looks clearer but you become blurrier…

It’s our job to think before we share & think before we post. Misinformation, Disinformation, & DIP (Deceptive Imagery Persuasion) makes it harder for us to real conversations, with shared facts, about what’s happening in the world. Impulsive posting hurts democracy & free expression. (5/8)
