Marionette. From the archives. Thanks to Mika Jones for modeling. A lovely person and talented model. I should have been a better friend. Rest in peace. Digital. Shot on Canon 5D with 28-135 IS USM lens, in 2008.

We just picked our new foster dog Christopher over the weekend. He is a sweetheart. His previous owner cannot care for him anymore, and the rest of the family doesn’t want him. They were going to “leave him out as coyote bait”. This little guy deserves a loving family. We’re going to find him one.

From the Archives. Digital. 2009. Canon EOS 5D with 28-135 IS USM lens. Funny story about this, the original model never showed, and the woman pictured was originally meant to do hair and makeup. She volunteered to stand-in as model as well and she nailed it all. Many thanks!

Sorry I'm not more open-minded about LLMs, it's just some fucking maniacs shoveled out a bunch of useless bloatware featuring that technology, did not give me any chance to opt out, reorganized the entire economy around it, zeroed out gains made by green energy, and made it impossible to buy RAM

In hindsight, computers were a mistake.

A lot of people say AI isn't very good for the world and its outputs are routinely unreliable, but these haters fail to see how it's revolutionizing how we incinerate schoolchildren.

#Luminar #Neo currently has this on their website (screen capture by me). It's advertising their AI powered photo editor. I can't believe they're using this to advertise it, where it replaces the Asian model's eyes with blue eyes. You're not beating the #racist #AI allegations with this one.

Have you ever struggled to get home from the bar late at night? Digital. From the archives. Shot in 2009 on my Digital Rebel (6.3 mega pixels). 1/10 f4 ISO 400

This is another shot of the sunrise at the airport. If you squint, you can see a helicopter in the air. It was doing some training flights. Shot with Mamiya RB67 and 90mm lens, on Ektar 100.

Long ago I purchased two rolls of color infrared film. This roll was shot back in 2007, but I never developed it until now! These were taken during a visit to the Woodland Park Zoo in Seattle. #film #analog #infrared

Back to film today. This is an Ektachrome roll that went through a 6x9 camera and then went through a 6x7 camera, leading to some interesting results. Enjoy!
