This is especially frustrating if you're voting Democrat, since candidates have a much higher rate of running as a Dem and then voting primarily with Republicans, as opposed to the other way around.

There are unemployed unions, renters unions etc as well as traditional worker unions, for anyone who doesn't have one. Other options? I'd like to join a 'Residents Who Want to Live in a Decent Place Union.' Like: let's be nice to migrants and teenagers and make sure there's somewhere to sit down.
