given her a clearance if he really wanted to do so and without any need for formal vetting. Thank goodness no one let him do that. Also, I highly doubt he had a clue until warned that Harp did not have a clearance yet. He is not a details guy. Second, that Harp was allowed to remain in her role

for so long without having even submitted the SF86 and secured at least an interim clearance, to say nothing of being favorably adjudicated for the clearance after investigation, is unequivocally insane. She is a close aide in his inner circle. She is everywhere with him. We know Trump has no regard

everyone at the White House holds a clearance, especially senior and inner circle staff. You're in close proximity to the President on a regular basis, inevitably some aspect of your duties involve classified information. You want to seriously tell me staff knew to kick her out of the room

any time someone had to discuss something classified with Trump? Puhleez. Third, the very fact she was allowed to remain in her role after refusing to fill out the SF86 would ordinarily be viewed as a serious security risk in and of itself. You do not get to just decline to fill out the SF86.

legitimate concern here about how reckless Trump has been in his staff management. There is a legitimate issue of how Ms. Harp was allowed to be in this role for so long without proper security vetting (if this story is accurate). Oversight is necessary. Remember that in November. /end
