Yes, I don't think "single-sex except for anyone of the opposite sex who would prefer to be there" is a better or more workable policy than "unisex", & I support single-sex wards for the same reasons every government since 1997 has: they improve safety & comfort, especially for women.

Time for men to step up and let transwomen know they are safe with them in male only spaces.
