Introvert Problems

Introverts are often alone but rarely lonely. We can spend entire days by ourselves without getting bored or feeling like we’re missing out on anything. We enjoy our own company and don’t need to constantly be around people to feel happy or fulfilled

A haunted house for introverts: People jump out unexpectedly and try to make small talk with you. Just when you think you’ve made it out, you enter a room full of people networking, and everyone wants to introduce themselves and exchange contact information

One of the best feelings for an introvert is slipping out of a social event without anyone noticing, driving home in complete silence, and feeling more at peace with every mile

“You’re so quiet!” - Everyone 1. I refuse to gossip, which I feel like constitutes 70% of human conversation 2. Silence is beautiful 3. Small talk bores me quickly

Greatest moments in introvert history: 1. Someone cancels plans with you before you have to 2. Your Uber driver doesn't talk during a 30-minute ride 3. You get into an elevator and nobody else is in it 4. A meeting gets canceled and replaced with an email

People are always telling introverts they need to go out more, socialize more, and stop spending so much time alone. But why? Some people are perfectly happy staying home and keeping to themselves. Why is that so hard for others to understand?

“You don’t talk much do you?” Me: *tries to talk* - gets interrupted - no one cares - gets talked over - gets ignored

I hate when I plan a conversation in my head but the other person doesn’t follow the script

Introverts don’t recharge with sleep, we recharge by being left completely alone for 3–5 business days

The introvert urge to stay up far too late because it's the only time you can be alone

Those “can I call you” people are so wonderful. No, you cannot call me but thank you for asking

Introverts be like: I didn’t say much, but I’ve been overthinking what I did say for 4 days straight

I mean this from the bottom of my heart…if it's textable…do not call me
