OMG I was just thinking about this! I got my morning chores done, had a little snack and then lay down with my cat Minnie and got comfortable so my arthritic knees didn't hurt, got covered up and gave out a little sigh. "It doesn't get much better than this!"
Damn straight! And, if you're an introvert married to an introvert, doing this side-by-side is just heavenly.
I'm reading "Redshirts" to my better half this week during slug time, with blankets & hot cocoa. What else is there, really?
I've got a room with a gigantic beanbag, a weighted blanket, blackout window covers, earplugs, a TV and sound system, two consoles and a projector that puts awesome relaxing images on the ceiling. I can just go in and shut myself away.
I love it
Amateur. Where's the fridge? Where's the other life sustaining items needed so that you don't have to get up until you need to go to bed (if you so choose)?
This is me. Yesterday I finished the last of the outside repairs to the house (that could be reasonably accomplished; it is of course never-ending). Today my friend helped me take down and store the scaffolding. There was great rejoicing. Now begins the great season of torpor (I'm retired).
🔥 @angieforfl.bsky.social Nixon: “The biggest, greatest lie ever told is we don’t have the power to change anything... it’s not about Republican vs. Democrat anymore— it’s about people so rich they’re now becoming trillionaires and trying to wipe out the entire middle class.”
Non-introverts label us “depressed,” when we’re literally in our happy place with no depression whatsoever. We just know how to appreciate the little things.

This is all good but one request if you do this. Do not put your laptop on a comforter ESPECIALLY SURROUNDING IT SO THERE'S NO AIRFLOW.
Electronics are expensive as it is you don't want to damage a laptop from overheating.
That's close but for me it's a detachable keyboard nestled warmly under the covers when it's cold in the room, typing all night to no one in particular.
