The Paul George Transaction Tree 6 Pacers that have some connection in their transactional lineage that goes all the way back to the Paul George for Victor Oladipo and Domas Sabonis deal: Tyrese Haliburton Andrew Nembhard Ben Sheppard Pascal Siakam Johnny Furphy Tristen Newton

Ivica Zubac leaving Fiserv Forum now. No boot, no crutches, moving normal.

Aaron Nesmith was on a minutes restriction of 20 minutes tonight, Rick Carlisle says.

Would be nice to have those 6 points the Pacers have lost on made corner 3s where feet were out of bounds

Open 3s not falling. Pacers giving up a lot of second chance points (21). Back to back hit hard in the second half. Bucks up 9 with 5:25 left.

Pacers lost the third quarter by 10. No cheese curds. Up 1 heading into the fourth. Lots of short stints for guys tonight as Carlisle has been combating the back to back by trying to keep guys as fresh as possible when they are out there.

My hopes of Huff looking much better when playing with Hali are feeling pretty good right now.

Lol Rollins was starting to feel good after getting his hand on the ball a couple times during Ty’s dribble then Ty just hits a 3 in his face and lets him hear about it.

Jarace pre-switches Ty out of the final play. Causes the Bucks to try something else, Ty ends up poking away the pass and hustles to gather the ball before the shot clock runs out and finishes the quarter with a layup. Awesome play.

Not overreacting to anything that happens tonight on the second night of a back to back this early in the season with so many guys out. They should be able to still beat this Bucks team but it’s likely to be ugly tonight.

Kelly Oubre Jr. should have got a smothered chicken for that block on Myles Turner. SHEESH

No Nembhard vs. Milwaukee. Wrote about how important it's been for the Pacers to play with two point guards at once. That's been more difficult without McConnell. It'll be even more difficult tonight on the second night of a back-to-back without Nembhard.

Five players out for the Pacers tonight, all on standard contracts. So their nine standard contracts available tonight: Tyrese Haliburton, Kelly Oubre, Aaron Nesmith, Pascal Siakam, Jay Huff, Quenton Jackson, Larry Nance, Jarace Walker, Obi Toppin. Plus, the three two-ways.

Hope the Drew back/neck issue doesn’t keep him out long. He’s been phenomenal this year and with the team already missing TJ, they’re really lacking at point guard beyond Hali.

Many injury updates from Rick Carlisle on Sheppard’s surgery, Zubac’s ankle, and Nembhard’s status tonight (out):

Pacers Injury Report Updates: Zubac is OUT with his sprained ankle Nembhard is questionable with neck soreness Nesmith is probable with his hamstring strain Haliburton not listed Shep, TJ, Furphy all remain OUT ipacers.com/2026/10/26/i...

Five things from last night: -Zubac goes down -Ugly early turnovers -Big forwards great in the first half -Jay Huff steps up -Special shooting night And a big assist to @1kyletaylor.bsky.social for the photo. Story: www.circlecityspin.com/five-things-...

Tyrese Haliburton says don’t quote him on feeling like Dr J when he puts on the ABA jersey because he doesn’t want Darnell Hillman coming at him.

Updated with postgame quotes from Rick Carlisle, including his full answer on Ivica Zubac's health.

Tyrese Haliburton on his self alley oop dunk: “I think it’s the ABA jerseys, I feel like Dr. J … don’t quote me on that.” 🤣

Ivica Zubac's x-rays were negative on his left ankle, Rick Carlisle said. But he's got some swelling. Unlikely to play tomorrow.

Five things learned in the Pacers win over the Nets tonight: www.circlecityspin.com/five-things-...

12 points and 3 blocks from Huff. 3s, reverse dunks, rim protection. Everything you would hope to see from Huff especially with Zu now out.

Tyrese Haliburton with the self alley off the bounce. The bench and Hali are giddy after that.

Pacers aren’t playing particularly well but the difference in the whistle on both ends is noticeable.

A Huff 3 out of an ATO and it worked. Thought those plays drawn up for Huff 3s would be left in the gas leak year tbh.

Zubac is questionable to return with the sprained left ankle after he landed on Kelly Oubre’s foot.

Jalen Slawson gets into the game before Jarace Walker with 8 minutes left in second quarter.

Just an off rhythm start for the Pacers offense. Pair of bad turnovers from Nesmith, Pascal missing a layup in transition, opening possession where it seemed like they weren’t expecting them to switch everything. Bleh

Pacers starters for Game 3 Social team’s graphic work is fantastic

Stat sheet doesn’t say enough for Jalen Slawson tonight, only positive to take from this one: 4 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals, 2 blocks in 16 minutes. Pacers won those 16 minutes by 7. They lost the other 32 minutes of this one by 23. Lay down the Slaw, son.

You can tell how much Rick Carlisle appreciated Jalen Slawson tonight. He kept him in one more play after pulling the others in the lineup just so he could get an ovation from the crowd as he exited.

Jalen Slawson has forced three straight turnovers and this time rips it from Kyrie Irving and gets fouled by him. Irving fouls out. This guy, man. Pacers MVP tonight.

Yeah that same hustle and effort that Slawson showed at the end of last year is still there. Gonna be a fan favorite playing like this.

Pacers have cut the lead to 18 with 7:49 left. Just where was any of this effort in the first half outside of Slawson

Kelly Oubre finally hits a 3 but doesn’t get back. His defender leaks out and Jalen Slawson saves him with a chasedown block.

Quenton Jackson gets a 3 to fall. Pacers have cut 12 points off the halftime deficit but still trail by 22. Crowd is alive.

Now that’s a LOBI

It’s a perfect mixture of: - poor effort - poor shotmaking - turnovers - awful defense - bad calls And it’s all snowballing.

“This is awful,” a fan says near me in the concourse. “I might as well start drinking.”

May 2026-27 turn into Carlisle’s sixth season…and a title.

Worst half of basketball I’ve seen the Pacers play in a long time (excluding the gas leak year)
