I was watching a reaction on YouTube the other day, on the song American Pie, he had also reacted to Vincent and sadly, just didn’t get either ones beautiful prose. He did not get the meaning but I’ll give him a pass(to a certain degree) on it being generational. Metaphors rein in American Pie.

I worked during the Covid Pandemic. I’m an X-ray/CT Technologist. It was an everyday day challenge and watching so many people die. It has had its effect. I’m still working in Diagnostic Imaging. Now, 44 years and counting. I’ve seen it all. I’m tired though. Maybe , one day, I’ll call it a day.
