Look at the shabby state and increasingly authoritarian trajectory of the country and ask yourself if we can endure 2 more years of a lawless Trump administration wreaking havoc with no check from Congress, then vote accordingly. This is not the time for a protest vote or purity politics.

stuff like this makes me question of campbell is up for this. you gotta be able to say something isn’t good enough when you’re at a place with standards. can't talk about what a privilege it is to have an opportunity to grow. i don't want penn state to grow, i want penn state to win games.

Matt Campbell: We have the right human beings in that locker room, and we certainly have the right coaches in that locker room. The challenge will be getting ourselves aligned back to who we want to be, where we need to be and fundamentally the team we need to be to be able to win.

fascinated in campbell’s postgame press conference because if he tries to do the Football Tony Robbins thing you might see 60k people in the building for the white out next week

becht does shit that you’d expect a younger inexperienced qb to do but genuinely no one in college football has more starts than he does

(no one asks for my thoughts and i promise i'm not trying to defend anyone or anything but i think the AD feels heat to raise money/is under fire for job performance and the head coach's default for everything is "sure yeah w/e i'm gonna go coach football now," which is not what the last guy did)

What’s really awesome about re-litigating all of this is that Penn State took decisive action to fire everyone, accept sanctions, pay massive restitution. Instituted meaningful oversight. Perpetrators & administrators were convicted & incarcerated. And then this shit happens bsky.app/profile/treb...
