Something AI is responsible for that doesn't get enough talk: How, when it scrapes a website to illegally steal everything on it, it uses up a ton of its bandwidth allotment, crashing it or racking up massive fees for site owners.

Yet again, the Game UI Database is being scraped to the point that it's getting knocked offline. Even Cloudflare's "I'm under attack" mode isn't working. I just wanted to create a resource for real designers. I'm getting so fucking sick of this.

PSA - Hey. It's not that hard. CREDIT THE ARTISTS FOR THEIR WORK!!! There are so many industries that don't take the extra step to credit or even pay artists for what they contribute to whatever it is their work is used for. There needs to be a change and it needs to happen yesterday!

Been a very long while since I posted any actual hobby stuff so here is the Ork Combat Patrol I finished up very recently (yes the other 10 boyz are done too). I've had it since January and finally got to it. #Warhammer40k #paintingwarhammer #WarhammerCommunity #Orks #nerdlings #paintingminiatures

Every year for Pride, I repost Hue. I made him to send love and comfort to those who feel Pride isn’t for them because they aren’t out. You matter, you are valid, and it’s ok if you aren’t ready yet. Coming out is not a requirement for being part of this community. Happy Pride 🌈

I have been playing MMOs since EQ1 days and I've been a Final Fantasy fan since the first game on the NES. Played FFXI then jumped to WoW and saw FFXIV announced, played a short time during 1.0 and didn't care for it. Heard about ARR, got into the beta for it and was blown away by the fact that it

played similarly to WoW but also had a story that was to follow and play through. Played ARR/2.0 until endgame and then got slammed by 2 hour queues to get into Amdapor Keep which was required to get better gear at the time. Quit and came back late into HW's cycle and have been hooked ever since.

To any and all who 3d print with an eye towards selling your prints as wargame proxies (especially on Etsy) - a lot of us buy 3d prints because they are a cheaper alternative to the big companies like GW. If you're going to sell your prints at equal to or more than GW prices, I and many others won't

buy from you. Especially on Etsy where often have to pay shipping. Make sure when you're are pricing things that you don't price yourself out of being a considered option for alternative wargame models. Look at the price per model of the big companies and set your prices lower than that.

Oh, so NOW people are catching on, when a Native celeb gets detained. Natives have been getting detained and deported since all this began. This is old news in tribal circles. I'm glad people are finally paying attention but maybe stop ignoring us and you'll notice sooner.

I 100% echo this sentiment. I have 5 trans friends in my life and they are some of the best people I know. All the trans people on this platform should be aware that you are seen and you are important.

I know three trans people in my personal life. They are great people I came here and met so many more. So many talented and amazing people. I will stand up for them, now and always. I see you, and you are loved.

Found this on TikTok and it made me emotional ❤️ Artists create universes from nothing. Being an animator is an intimate understanding of life, environments, physics, what it MEANS to be alive, and the ability to convey the beauty within our world in seconds.

Boycotting something I never used anyway is extremely easy to do. Everyone that does use it should check this post for alternatives.

Spotify is crashing HARD because of the boycott. Their stock dropped 11% in value over the last month. Let’s keep this going! Tell everyone you know to boycott Spotify. There are plenty of alternatives that don’t run ICE advertisements and screw over artists. We made it easy at boycottspotify.com.
