Trump is so afraid of losing the midterms that he's demanding the USPS not deliver ballots to millions of American voters.   As judge after judge slaps down his attempts to rig the 2026 midterms, we must all remain vigilant to ensure voting remains a right promised to every American.

politico.comJudge blocks Trump order demanding Postal Service restrict mail votingThe decision marks a win for the states that have challenged the president’s effort to crack down on mail-in voting ahead of a consequential November midterm.

Ok, I finally looked it up. It's: "Who's that casting DEVIOUS stares in my direction?" I've been singing "deep fious" for *checks notes...* almost 30 years.

Will he order the metal detectors removed so the crowd can get inside to see him talk?

He thinks you can win a war by lying that you won. He thinks you can win an election by lying that you won. He thinks you can win at life by lying that you won.

Frankly, it doesn't matter. The point was to rile up the insurrectionists before the election.

Popehat@kenwhite.bsky.social

If this is true — if it only took a judge demanding briefing and some light pushback — then it really shows how contemptibly cultish and cowardly the GOP was when most of them were fine with it.

There's no settlement. There's no court case. There's absolutely nothing justifying any of this. Trump is just straight up robbing American taxpayers of $1.8 Billion and saying 'what are you going to do about it?'

Today, Blanche got very offended when I called him out for continuing to act like Trump's personal attorney. Now, we learn he quietly signed a deal to bar the IRS from EVER reexamining Trump's, his family's, or his companies' prior taxes. How does this serve the American people?

politico.comJustice Department expands Trump settlement to cover his tax auditsActing Attorney General Todd Blanche signed a broadly worded addendum that appears to end the president’s long-running disputes with the IRS.

I'm having trouble discerning what is more insane: the childlike architecture lesson, the grotesque ballroom, or trying justify it with fantasies of militarizing it to weather a massive siege.

Aaron Rupar@atrupar.com

Trump, ranting and raving about his ballroom: "This is Rome. They like the flat roof. Greece likes the the triangles, and you see that. This is a porch that looks out over the city. Also, it's developed in such a way that we can have military there. It's also a drone port."

Are you encouraging people to come attack Congress on behalf of the president again in the future? Yes. Very yes.

They plundered Venezuela and no one did anything. We're next.

Aaron Rupar@atrupar.com

Q: The DOJ has a new fund that was announced today -- $1.7b. Why should taxpayers pay for the J6ers? TRUMP: Well, it's been very well received, I have to tell you. I know very little about it. I wasn't involved in the whole creation of it. This is reimbursing people that were horribly treated

Starting to think all of those people on Shark Tank are some kind of predators.

Re: "I don't think about American's financial situation" I think he was dodging a perceived accusation that he an his cronies are profiting from war. His gut reaction is to lie. He doesn't even understand the question was about people other than himself. THAT'S how little he thinks of us.

Good to see: Nearly 100 House Dems just filed papers calling on the judge to throw out the lawsuit that's the basis for Trump's "settlement" creating his new slush fund, arguing that DOJ is colluding with Trump to illegally circumvent Congress:

Greg Sargent@gregsargent.bsky.social

Unreal. Now that Trump dropped IRS lawsuit, DOJ just announced a new slush fund for alleged victims of "weaponization." Two Qs: *Will there be *any* congressional oversight? Most reporting suggests not. *Would payments to J6ers violate 14A? Raskin explains here: newrepublic.com/article/2105...

Trump looks so weak and Xi is not amused.

Starting to think 60 days of unaccountable war is too much.

Now Trump is announcing peace and war in the same statement. It’s completely incoherent batshit lunacy.

Can someone let the AP know that violating court orders is not a sign of "executive power. " It is a sign of contempt, lawlessness and authoritarianism.

The Texas legislature rammed through a gerrymandering bill at the request of Trump. Virginia actually voted in favor of redistricting to counterbalance what Texas and other Republican-controlled states have done. Yet only one is considered a "power grab." Oligarch-owned media in a nutshell.

Today, Pam Bondi defied a federal subpoena to testify on the Epstein files. The DOJ says her testimony is "moot" because she was fired. This is a textbook obstruction strategy. If Bondi doesn’t face a contempt vote, Congressional oversight is officially a myth. Read more in my recent essay:

Donald Trump is deranged. He must be impeached and removed from office. Republicans who don’t stop him will have blood on their hands, and anyone who carries out an order to bomb civilian targets will be complicit in war crimes and will be held accountable.

Trump: “A whole civilization will die tonight, never to be brought back again. I don’t want that to happen, but it probably will … We will find out tonight, one of the most important moments in the long and complex history of the World. 47 years of extortion, corruption, and death, will finally end”

Can we talk more about the bruising that is probably from periodic infusions to keep his brain from melting? Congress, that's probably your business.

Trump is right, we can either pay for “daycare, Medicaid, Medicare all these things," or we can pay for more war. Every dollar we spend on this illegal war of choice, is a dollar that could have helped improve life right here at home. He's telling us what he cares about more.

Aaron Rupar@atrupar.com

Trump: "The US can't take of daycare. That has to be up to a state. We're fighting wars. Medicaid, Medicare -- they can do it on a state basis. We have to take care of one thing: military protection. But all these little scams that have taken place, you have to let states take care of them."

Finally, SCOTUS reaffirms what we've known all along, Trump's tariffs are an unconstitutional tax on the American people. Over the last year, working people paid an average of $1,000 more because of these tariffs. And Trump has no plan to put that money back in your wallet.
