YouTube does this funny bit now where you click on a video and a completely different video from the same channel but a year prior starts playing in its place. Just leaves me wondering if I smell burnt toast and or briefly lost my mind, great bit.

The Arch is the most stable shape in architecture but not football, gators recover the fumble don’t look now

I have spent the last 48 hours renaming files and moving my music library to a more permanent home, I’m 94% done, and my inner monologue is now mostly chattering hard drive platters.

It’s amazing the stuff you can find when you have to pack up an entire kitchen, it feels like I’ve been looking for this shower toaster for months

I have no way to play the pod racing game and still caught the biddy bias guy’s voice in my head, actual players must be going nuts

The dog has started watching the game from the safety of the kitchen, very calm very normal start to the football game (Go dawgs)

It is deeply unsettling seeing orange mouth pieces on a Georgia player, kids these days don’t hate that color enough

Excited to start my new position at the call center, I’ll be the guy playing weird harmonica karaoke while you wait

If you told me the choosing texas snare sound is reinforced with samples from the trash can they used to tip pitches in the astros World Series, I’d believe you. Snare tuned down to the basement, jeez.

Chambliss takes the biggest risks extending plays in the pocket and he’s never punished for it, wild quarterback behavior that just keeps working.

Even with a new head coach, it appears that playing Kentucky still sucks you in a football vortex where you have to play Kentucky football.

As if by magic, leaves have started falling the minute I’m sitting down to watch some college football. Fall is so back.

Normally I struggle to keep my eyes from glazing over when montage music drops, so imagine my surprise when sitting down to watch Motor City blind

I didn’t know Mapquest was on the Posting For 38 Year Olds site until today, but yeah that tracks actually, well played

I’m just not gonna do falcons football this year. I’ve lived here my whole life, I’ve seen enough, I’m taking my sundays back now. Nah.

Packing Schrödinger’s salad for lunch, it is both health conscious and/or self destructive until observed properly. Who’s to say, really

I wish I’d known what kind of show Silo was before I loaded up on coffee and anxiety, guess we’re white knuckling today, alright alright alright

The spinning rust drives in my media sever making tv show intros searchable and skippable sound like subway bucket drummers, but it’s probably fine. HDD prices are fine and these things are easily sourced, probably.

Tinnitus is great for bringing your own emergency broadcast test tone to go, never know when you’ll need the abyss to eeeeeee back at you

For four bucks, you can get a nine pound watermelon, have four pounds of watermelon for dinner, and still have twelve pounds of watermelon left over to stuff in the fridge somehow. What a magical time of year.

Getting three hours of sleep is sick when you want to experience the remaining 21 hours of your day on three hours sleep

Every single part of Apex is designed in a lab to be my least favorite thing ever. Sketchy rappelling, shitty sandy slabby climbing, talking to strangers I hate this movie, wildly uncomfy, so fair play I guess

It’s inaccurate to say Mario is brave and Luigi is cowardly Luigi is afraid of death, so he runs away from danger. Mario is afraid of living, so he runs towards death. Both brothers are cowards in their own way

Self hosting would be so much cooler if the homelab stuff looked more like audio equipment. Give me big, beefy knobs and VU meters, I want to watch the needles bounce and smell tubes cooking. My NAS should look like a giant tube compressor.

Too old for the entry level job search, sitting with over qualified candidates leaving dying careers for the entry level job search…and we’re all watching hiring managers pick the youngest candidates willing to work for 1/3 of a living wage. Why is it so hard to find work that isn’t actively evil

Disc golf was my main thing for 20 years, and I think I’m finally too injured to continue. I have no idea what to do with 70 degree weather now. Sure is nice out there.

The pace of current events is making it hard to find reliable books to help explain recent history, the reading list looks like a cvs receipt at this point. Feels like the worst time to be behind the times.

Please stop asking the replicator for “bowls of human blood.” It’s not technically illegal but you’re really freaking people out

refs are stuck in recursive loops if you don’t let them announce the last flag, it’s like stranding a roomba until the next season

You’d think refs might not want any more face time, that maybe they wouldn’t want to clear the field for one last chance to address the stadium. And you’d be wrong,
