Working in a public #library has been going really well up until my last two shifts, which have both ended with an obstinate customer arriving within 5 minutes of closing time and expecting a full library service with really random extra requests because they are standing at the service desk.

Mine is 3! I’ve never been to a book club, damaged a library book, or ruined a book in the bath.

It’s horrifying watching all this unfold in real time and I really want to stop doomscrolling but its a bit like seeing an accident happen in front of you and being unable to look away. I need to step away from the internet but I fee guilty for prioritising my own sanity and mental health.

So let me get this straight, under the Greens' alternative Budget I would have to pay a little bit more tax... and every child in my neighbourhood could go to kindy for free? *offstage muttering* AND free dental! 😲 Will no one stop these Marxist monsters??
