This is one of the things my therapist taught me that helped improve my mental health: Focus on a few things that you can actually change and do those. Start with your local community. You can’t help anyone if you’re burned out. Personally, I focus on going above and beyond for my patients.

I finally got my shower :) I'll try to get my laundry done tomorrow. Slow and steady, I will treat myself kindly this winter.

I’m so tired of the internet. AI everywhere, paywalls everywhere, everybody trying to get money out of you, etc. Miss the days where people would just happily just talk/post about their interests.

Once again for any creative; use whatever site best fits your needs for your livelihood. No socmed site big enough to hold a audience is going to be free of genAI; be realistic with your expectations and pick the lesser evil. Your value as an artist isn't tied to numbers or a particular site (+)

just got back from my first appointment with her and oh my LORD. she is so much better than my previous one. she explained everything and was so kind and gave me OPTIONS. i didn't realize how barbaric my last dentist was until now 😭 im absolutely switching to her forever now, even if it costs more
