Looking through a really old backup drive today and I have a directory that contains only this image and I don't know where it came from

Used the rest of my leftover cutlets to make one of the best salads I've had in my life - Chicken cutlet - Romaine lettuce - Cherry tomatoes - Sliced dates - Sliced almonds - Balsamic vinegar - Olive oil - Salt/pepper/garlic powder - Honey & sriracha 11/10

When your wife is out of town, sometimes lunch is a single leftover chicken cutlet

You can spot v*becode in a lot of different ways, but of one of the most obvious ways to me are spotting decisions that seem to make a lot of sense on paper, but are just totally impractical. Like, setting an undo button in an application to the "U" key. Of course a computer would think of this

Some more flags (red? I don't know): making UI just a row of buttons, text-transform: uppercase, letter spacing, abusing visual states and animations in some places and completely ignoring them in others, aggressive sectioning and borders

The final boss. What's unfortunate is that I don't necessarily dislike this visual style but at this point there is a direct correlation between it and sticky/buggy UI/UX

I don't know if anybody else does this but I literally only use snapchat now to put my hand over my camera, take a completely black/dark picture, and use it to doodle an idea when I'm explaining or thinking about something

For the longest time a lot of the questions in the beginner digital music space were things like "Which notes do you guys use?"

I love being a complete beginner and the concept of apprenticeship but something about digital music is so daunting that it breaks people and starts making them ask if their hammers are hammering nails wrong

One question that I can never make fun of is "which DAW do you use" because, even though it is terribly misguided and ultimately pointless, I intimately remember that beginner-scramble to find software that actually clicks with you.

They've got ten billion evil guys lined up in front of your home just waiting to enter. Do you let them in? of course, your answer doesn't matter; they're coming in whether you like it or not. And they're going to cause a lot of trouble and break crap and pour warm water all over you and your stuff.

The line wraps three times around the earth. All of them need to be fed and entertained. Of course, if any of them starve, you lose the game. So you have to be careful and watch their hunger meter. The best strategy is to employ a bus-feeding network for continuous, high-speed nourishment.

You can easily look up a You tube tutorial on this so I don't even know why I'm explaining this. Just be careful, be safe, and have fun.

I feel like everyone has had the idea of there being a game where you hold the controller upsidedown/backwards/sideways etc., why has nobody done it

Baring witness to people unrolling & decompiling evil predatory software is going to be really interesting. Or maybe all the vampire logic only exists on servers. Even so

Like we all know we are being s*rveillanced to a degree but being hit with infallible proof that corporate software is evil can/will be really strange. Like oh yeah that miscellaneous packet being sent to google actually contained a point matrix of your face so they can track your mood. Just nuts

Not even joking that these two images are responsible for an embarrassing amount of positive mental recourse in my life

One reminds me that people still love genuine connection and there is a bright future ahead where we still share & love despite modern burdens. The other reminds me to slow down and not obsessively stay tuned-in to every channel in my life at any given moment, to be patient, and to listen carefully
