No Kings response to Meta: “In the 24 hours before our account was shut down, we posted only a handful of times and livestreamed to thousands. Meta's "high-frequency" excuse doesn't add up…We need answers about why this happened & immediate action to ensure it never happens again.”

As a professional composer I would not be where I am without school music programs and access to affordable starter instruments. Pain infliction for the sake of inflicting pain.

It's Oct 3. The midterms are a month away, but early voting has already begun in some states. Mail-in ballots will start circulating soon. Some of the usual suspects are already pushing the same "rigged election" rumors we've all heard before. This year, you can play along at home. bingo.cip.uw.edu

Earlier this week, I agreed to interviews with two USA Today journalists. They wrote fantastic articles about the Cornell case that I'm proud to have been a part of. What I did not know is that their employer considers interviews to proprietary and opens up recordings to be used by any journalist.

Excited to share my setting of Pulitzer Prize winner Marie Howe’s powerful poem “What The Living Do” which juxtaposes the profound loss accompanying a loved one’s death with the mundanity of daily life. It's more “operatic monodrama” than art song. Catherine Thorpe & Andrew Earle Simpson perform.
