Plus, it's just effing annoying and alienating ... to the point of being counter-productive.

Once mass spam texts were made legal, younger donors vanished, leaving a grassroots fundraising machine that subsists on squeezing vulnerable seniors, some of whom give hundreds of times a day. It’s a horrific model. Consultants get generationally wealthy, and the party hollows out its future.

#Missouri Vote "NO" on Amendment 3. It's nothing but an abortion ban being sold as anti-trans hate propaganda.

Jess Piper@piperformissouri.bsky.social

Abortion bans are violation of the separation of church and state.

this is beyond fucked whether you follow any SW's or not, the fact that you are even on this platform is thanks in a large part to the SW community driving traffic in the early days. SW and trans people helped Bluesky win the clone war, and the leadership has done nothing but fuck them over since.

Vote NO on Amendment 7 This amendment would supposedly replace the state's tax system with a portfolio of publicly traded stocks funded through "taxes, budget cuts, and donations." It reeks of corrupt intent. This ballot question was initiated by the state's GOP/MAGA-dominated legislature.

Vote NO on Amendment 8 This amendment purports to "support law enforcement" by requiring all sheriffs in the state to be locally elected (as most already are) and designating them the "chief law enforcement officer(s)" in their counties who can only be removed from office by ... (more)

Vote NO on Amendment 3. Though most of its ads focus on its anti-trans brouhaha, it's primary purpose is to restore the state's abortion ban, which was repealed via a citizen's initiative just two years ago. This ballot question was initiated by the state's GOP/MAGA-dominated legislature.

Vote YES on Amendment 6 This amendment would strengthen and protect the state's CITIZEN's initiative process, which enables #Missouri CITIZENS to bring issues to the voters, from continued attacks from the legislature. This ballot question was initiated by the Respect MO Voters movement.

Vote NO on Prop A. A "no" vote on this citizen-initiated will repeal the ultra gerrymandered U.S. House of Representatives district map designed by the GOP/MAGA-dominated legislature in response to a demand by the convicted felon currently occupying the White House. A "yes" vote would keep his map.
