We're seeing candidates emboldened to run all over the country to stop data centers. If we follow through on regulation, it's a real opportunity for Democrats & progressives to sweep state legislatures and connect the dots on reining in Big Tech/AI and the climate crisis.

.@aparnafordc.bsky.social has raised enough to max out all public matching funds! The fastest ward level candidate to do so in DC history! Can personally attest this was a massive amount of work. Let's go win this now 🔥

Aparna Raj@aparnafordc.bsky.social

Major fundraising announcement- we have raised enough from DC donors to receive ALL available matching funds for a ward-level campaign! 💥🎉 We are incredibly grateful to everyone who has contributed and excited to power through the finish line in June!

HUGE win for climate and utility affordability down ballot in AZ! Against Turning Point of all things! So grateful for partners & candidates we got to work with here who led for years towards this majority:

Lead Locally@leadlocally.bsky.social

WE DID IT!!! Voters elected a clean energy majority on the SRP board and rejected Turning Point's toxic agenda! Congrats to @kenclarkforaz.bsky.social and all the candidates!

.@mdcdsa.org made me the organizer I am today.🌹✊🏾 During Trump's first term, DSA gave me hope that a better world was still possible. That hope guides my campaign for a Ward 1 with rent caps, free childcare, union jobs, and everything we need for a life of dignity and joy.

Fun Fact - the Georgia seat that flipped last night is the majority maker seat in the state house. If everything more Dem than this seat were to flip, the chamber would flip.

DC - Janeese is running! Let's win this! Plz plz plz donate today! Hard to describe how excited I am for this. DC *needs* a Mayor that actually has a vision for tackling its biggest problems like funding affordable housing, healthcare, childcare & stepping up to the Trump admin

The DC I know is worth fighting for. I’m Janeese Lewis George, and I’m running for Mayor. youtu.be/aOBD45c3wVM

The TOP way you can support is by donating so we can ensure Janeese is THE strongest contender in the June primary! You can ONLY give up to $200 - each dollar from a DC resident is matched 5x by the city (so you are giving $1200 if you give $200):

I know $200 is a big ask & ofc give what you're comfortable BUT think about how these fundraisers usually go. Pols running for mayor of large cities need to go to a room of millionaires & ask for 10's of thousands. This allows regular people to be major contributors. Let's use it

Her Ward 4 race was 1 of the first DC elections I worked on, & it’s been a real joy to see her get to the place where she could be Mayor. And she's the real deal: grew up in DC, was elected through grassroots groups, & has been an often lone prog voice on Council for those values

Pay attention to the most important political race of the YEAR! This ep is a must listen, feat. @peterhubbardga.bsky.social and @gcvoters.bsky.social!

David Roberts@volts.wtf

Today on Volts: hey listen up! The most important election of the year is happening in Georgia next month. Two seats on the (currently all-GOP) Public Service Commission are up & rising electricity prices are on everyone's mind. This is a bellwether for next year's governor & midterm elections!

I am SO excited that @aparnafordc.bsky.social is running for DC Council! I've organized with her & she's the real deal - and fighting for what actually matters. I just donated and, if you're a DC resident, your donation will be matched x5 w the public match! Join me? Let's win this!

People are being forced out of DC. The cost of living is too high, and Trump is waging an all-out assault on the District. It should be easier and more affordable to build a life here. That's why I’m running for DC Council in Ward 1. Join us: aparnafordc.com/donate

This is why supporting local elections matters. Local races like Ravi's can be decided by a few hundred votes and they can get climate champions in positions to #MakePollutersPay!

ravibhalla.bsky.social@ravibhalla.bsky.social

Under my leadership, Hoboken was the first city in New Jersey sue Big Oil to make these large fossil fuel corporations accountable for the climate crisis they created. The same urgency applies to the N.J. Climate Superfund Act. Let's get it passed.
