I visited the Museum Of Vancouver last October. I didn't realise the crab sculpture at the entrance would be used in the opening sequence for #FinalDestinationBloodlines

Barely even a single laugh in last night's #TheRehearsal and yet, I was gripped like I haven't been in a very long time. You'd never think of comparing Nathan Fielder to Tom Cruise but here we are. Both masters of their craft committed to putting in the hours.Just stunning stuff.

The Itchy & Scratchy Movie episode of The Simpsons is on TV right now, and wow—this might be the most butchered episode yet. Even the hiccuping guy saying ‘Kill me... kill me’ was cut.

Almost a full Neighbors reunion. Hopefully Rose Byrne will feature in one of the episodes. #TheStudio

This was a blast—like the warped lovechild of Upgrade, Nobody, and Crank. First time I’ve genuinely enjoyed a Jack Quaid performance. He’s finally tapping into that sly, comic mischief his dad nailed in his prime. #Novocaine

March has truly been the month of oners. #DaredevilBornAgain did it, #AdolescenceNetflix did it and now #TheStudio has done it. I'm delighted to share that there was no cheating in the latter - they actually shot that entire episode in one-take. Superb! variety.com/2025/artisan...

It's still fairly early in 2025, but that's probably the hardest I'll laugh this year. The last time I was this hysterical was back in 2020 when I discovered the magnificent Taskmaster. Not surprisingly, it features many of the same comedians. Brilliant stuff. #LastOneLaughingUK

Here's Severance but Mr Milchick is Alan Johnson from Peep Show. Enjoy.

Richard Ayoade on #LastOneLaughingUK is possibly the most genius bit of casting EVER.

That finale of #Invincible was so reminiscent of the first season finale. On paper, I should've hated it… but HELL, my heart was pounding like a jackhammer for every single minute of that battle between N̶e̶g̶a̶n̶ Conquest and G̶l̶e̶n̶n̶ Mark. EPIC!!! #INVINCIBLESeason3

Lower tier Bong Joon-ho on every imaginable level. What starts off as a fascinating story about clones turns into an unoriginal extinction farce. Zero subtlety, horrid CGI, poorly lit and excessively vulgar. Mildly amusing at best. #Mickey17

Can't wait for Belinda to go all John Wick on Greg's ass. Justice for Stifler's Mum! #TheWhiteLotusSeason3 #TheWhiteLotus

One of the most impressive things about #TheBrutalist (at least for me) is that it's written and directed by two people in their 30s. It feels a lot more mature than it has any right to be—that includes having it shot on film. On a budget of $10m, it's a technical marvel.

Controversial opinion: #YourFriendlyNeighborhoodSpiderMan > #Xmen97. Both flawed, both tremendously animated but plot-wise Spidey edged it for me. X97 tried to fit too much into every episode. Spidey was calmer, more coherent even with the distracting race and gender swapping.

Why are all articles like this nowadays? Can't we just celebrate good things without casting a judgmental eye on the past? www.slashfilm.com/1786981/the-...

The weakest entry in the Captain America series, but not as bad as the reviews make it out to be. There are two notable standout sequences. The critical problem is that it seems to be missing a third act—or perhaps marketing ruined the big finish. #CaptainAmericaBraveNewWorld

Bollywood has come a long way from its physics-defying, telenovela-esque crowd-pleasers. This tale of two veiled brides mixed up on a train delivers an inspiring message of empowerment. Despite a bit of slapstick & thanks to its terrific leads, #LaapataaLadies is solid!

I've been Team Wan/Whannell since they crafted the masterful SAW all the way back in 2004, but it pains me to say they've both fallen from grace—Wan with the weak 2023 Aquaman sequel, and now Whannell with this dreadfully dull follow-up to Upgrade and The Invisible Man. #Wolfman.

I'm seriously annoyed that The Lion King at the Hollywood Bowl is getting review-bombed just because of North West. That is incredibly disrespectful to the talented veterans involved—legends like the brilliant Lebo M., Jennifer Hudson, Heather Headley...hell, even Jeremy Irons!

I grew up with Boyzone, though I can't say I was ever a fan. Even so, this was a fascinating look at the dynamics of a boyband brotherhood. Ronan Keating came off as unlikeable, but fair play to him for owning his arrogance. Louis Walsh? An absolute turd. #BoyzoneNoMatterWhat

This was unexpectedly marvelous! A western disguised as a period costume drama filled with action, thrills, romance, and poignant emotion. Everything I love about cinema. Oh, and an absolute bastard of a villain—I almost wished death on the actor playing him. #ThePromisedLand

Overheard someone say "they look like they're holding their todgers" British humour at its finest. #WinterLights #CanaryWharf

I continue to be irritated by Peter Parker calling Aunt May by her first name. It's rude. #YourFriendlyNeighborhoodSpiderMan

Denis Villeneuve is a gangsta.

This was fun! Despite being animated and written by James Gunn, it's somehow more mature than much of his live action work. A great mix of adventure, tragedy and comedy—even if it is yet another Suicide Squad clone. #CreatureCommandos

My word! What a stunning little movie. No dialogue, yet every creature bursts with personality and emotion. Beautiful beyond words. Also, I’m now convinced King Julian in Madagascar wasn’t really a caricature. #Flow

Tell me your favorite movie that not many people know about.

Thanks to all for your kind remembrances on this awful day. Words will come later. Only feelings at the moment. Mourn and remember him but don’t forget to celebrate too. We won’t see his like again. The man from another place has gone home. #DavidLynch #TwinPeaks

Arguably the greatest cameo in film history. What a way to go out. Rest in peace, Mr. Lynch.

I despise Bill Bailey. Funny, insightful, poetic, and can seemingly play every instrument under the sun. His new show #Thoughtifier is brilliant, possibly his best ever, and if I weren’t so envious of his talents, I’d recommend it to everyone I know. Happy Birthday, Bill.

I would not have guessed Uptown Girl in a billion years.

Tonight I popped my Harlan Coben cherry with his first (and only) film adaptation. I can see why French thriller #TellNoOne (2006) is one of Michael Caine's favorites. Taut, exquisitely crafted and relentlessly entertaining despite its contrivances. Reminiscent of The Secret in Their Eyes.

Geez, is this true? The last LIVE musical event in the UK for New Years Eve was in 2014? That's saaaaad! Since then they've all been pre-recorded. #NewYearsEve
