Interesting new app for #iOS & #macOS devs who sell through the #AppStore: www.reddit.com/r/macapps/s/... Price Point Parity connects to App Store Connect and sets IAP and sub prices across all territories at once, so a price that feels right locally feels right everywhere. Good pricing, too.

gang - I have a LOT of DVDs and Blu-rays and years ago, in order to save space I chucked the cases and put the discs into sleeves, but now I'm reconsidering this system as well any good new ideas on how to store/organize DVDs & Blu-rays that both saves space AND makes them easier to access?

I wrote a new post about TimelineView in SwiftUI and how it can be used to build views that update periodically or continuously without relying on explicit state changes, making it possible to create dynamic interfaces and visual effects: nilcoalescing.com/blog/Timelin... #iOSDev #SwiftUI

if you are a trans reader of mine and you struggle to explain to cis family and friends why you hurt so much lately I wrote this so you can send it to them. I feel like we know this pain intimately but I want everyone to understand it, because we are going to need help if it’s ever going to stop.

Knowing which SwiftUI modifiers to reach for when styling the macOS window toolbar is not always obvious, and similar appearances can often be achieved in more than one way. I put together a reference for the different ways to do it on macOS 26: nilcoalescing.com/blog/AGuideT... #macOSDev #SwiftUI

I wrote a post on implementing background app refresh in SwiftUI. It covers setting up the capability in Xcode, scheduling a task, registering a handler with backgroundTask(_:action:), and testing it using the Xcode debugger: nilcoalescing.com/blog/Schedul... #iOSDev #SwiftUI

One of the many ways we’re simplifying the design process is by dynamically creating a style guide from assets already used in a design, so users can quickly trace colors, fonts, and other resources back to their source.

Picked up some incredible sleeves for my Bumbleflower deck. These are by @paolaspixels.bsky.social. I’ve often been irritated at the way the market for MTG sleeves seems to be flooded by AI. There’s none of that here, and they’re so freakin’ adorable.
