Julia Allum

Hello everyone, I'm new here 👋 A brief intro - I'm an illustrator based in Norfolk UK working in advertising, publishing & design. Influenced by art deco & mid century poster art I like to recreate that retro vibe in my own contemporary style. I sell prints too! Find out more - juliaallum.co.uk

I printed this duck two years ago. It's taken a while, but I finally sold my first one yesterday 🙂 It's funny how some things sell and others don't. I kinda like this one, I mean it's a duck, who doesn't like ducks? #screenprint

Packing these prints this morning. I'm down to just 4 now... If you'd like one, you'll find them here - juliaallum.co.uk/product/robi... #robin #screenprint #handmade

This is sped up as real time is real slow... In the world we live in today though where everything seems to be rush rush, it was lovely just to slow down and enjoy the process :)

Mural sneak peek... Early mornings were the best painting time :) I love being out & about when there's hardly anyone else around. I'll be varnishing the mural this weekend, so once fencing has been removed I'll be able to finally take, & share some photos

Hello September 👋 A Marsh Harrier this year. No idea what next year is going to be yet. Most likely a bridge, lighthouse or some other interesting structure :)

A reminder to do that thing that scares you!

Posts have been somewhat lacking the last few weeks as I've been a bit busy with some painting. I'm pleased to say the mural I've been working on in Wymondham is now complete so normal service shall resume. More on the mural soon... #mural #publicart

The last of one of my first ever screen prints sold today. I think this was my second ever print. I've learnt so much since I did this in 2019, but it's still one of my favourite designs. #screenprinting

Hello August 👋 Not sure how that happend? But can't go wrong with a mallard 🙂
