I go through all the trouble of figuring out how to get an API to give me geocoded coordinates as the Home Assistant Waze integration stopped taking addresses (like WTF?) and as soon as I figure it out (even learned some REGEX) the integration starts throwing 403 errors!

Also... I still hate how "resource:" is different than "resource_template:" just because I need to pass a parameter to it! that was actually most of my problem, just forgetting to do that again.

After futzing with docker for hours I think I finally figured out my problem trying to move storage for frigate to an external drive. It sure looks like it only reads the docker-compose file when directly told to, not when a container is started or stopped.

I really hate having to make sure a channel is a couple years old and isn't making obviously too much content before giving it a try. Realized a music channel I followed a few months ago was too good to be true now.

I paid UPS 6$ to expedite a package that didn't require a signature so it wouldn't be left on the doorstop for a weekend. Apparently they decided this meant that it needed a signature so they didn't actually leave it on the doorstep today.

I try to change the name on the one I subscribed on, and it says this name already exists. I change the name in the second one and try again This name already exists I have to Google for instructions on how to delete a profile. They are wrong. I eventually find the button and kill it.

I change the name on the thing, and add the dead name as an alternate. Try to reroute the package to a pickup spot. It show the wrong one on the confirmation page. Restart do it again. It finally shows the right one. 0/10 process I hate every step of this.

So I sign in and pay for a 20$ ups my choice subscription so I can hopefully just fix these issues for a year. They apply this upgrade to the wrong version of my address so the package I want to change doesn't show up as it's under a different first name.

Somehow turbotax wanted 2.5x the actual amount and had no actual plausible explanation of the difference. Then in the second program misread what "basis" meant for an inherited 401k.. After fixing that checkbox I think it was right. At least I got the same answer twice.

Hours in to the home automation project to make only the things in the same room as the speaker you talked to trigger, I found my problem... I used quotes to define the things in my if statement of targets... Absolutely required if you have separate words, but break everything without spaces.

When I went to vote in the primaries yesterday there was someone trying to vote in person because they hadn't gotten the mail in ballot they requested yet. It had apparently been sent out one day before. So 6 days into early voting for them to even send it, and a week to get it and send it back.

Finally figured out how to make my telegram bot delete it's messages to me from home assistant. Would have been easier if I remembered syntax. Or if the entity that knows message id's was the same as the entity that sends messages.
