I don’t see this this ruling as a victory. While I welcome the ruling obviously I don’t think any writer, or publication, gets to decide better than democracy. The Gender Recognition Act is law, whether you like it or not.

And while it’s great to see a trans woman on the list, the use of “transwoman” is 🚩🚩🚩 You wouldn’t say tallwoman or whitewoman. Use of transwoman always feels like a deliberate way of saying we are not actually women, but some other species.
