🧡 pax west 🧡 beautiful friends and wonderful reunions and mutual admiration and talking with people whose work I admire very much (Ted Chiang!!!! joy of a lifetime when he smiles and says “I know your game”) an absolute gift to spend time with double fine and the seattle/vancouver dev communities❤️

Blood Dungeon is OUT NOW on Steam, Xbox Series, Windows Store, Game Pass, Switch 1+2, and PlayStation 5! RTs very much welcome. I love you. #boneup blooddungeon.com youtu.be/rmbXDEdb6Y0

I had a great time picking @caseyyano.bsky.social’s brain about originating a whole genre with Slay the Spire! Tune in to the Game Maker's Notebook for the conversation 🎧

"Indies will save us" No! YOU WILL SAVE INDIES! Go leave a review for that neat indie game you like, share the trailer for an upcoming game you're anticipating, tell your fave developer they did a good job, go tell people about such and such game that's just come out, you can make a difference!

This is leadership ✊

alright so I know everyone wants to be bitching about con attendance going down, but having manageable coffee & food lines and places to sit? I’ll go to MORE events like this than super crowded ones tbh

flying to PAX East with a suitcase full of the uniqlo airism clothes I bought in Japan during the summer ....it's 40 degrees in Boston right now... i'm going to die

i need to recover from this gdc covid (and survive pax east) so i can make the 100000 games that GDC has inspired me to make

Finally caught up on this ep, what a fun convo and so cool to learn about @caraellison.bsky.social’s really unique journey in the medium! @karriebear.bsky.social you should do more interviews, you’re great at it!

thank you for watchingggg 🥹🙏

*song exploder voice* and now, in its entirety, the 2026 Independent Games Festival Awards. run and hosted by @karriebear.bsky.social, co-directed by @teddydief.com, co-written by me. gotta be one of the strongest fields i've seen, congrats to all the devs and juries! www.youtube.com/live/rLbzERI...

Quick @doublefine.com visit w @karriebear.bsky.social! Had a great time! Ambushed & killed by @timoflegend.bsky.social!

💕✨Gabe Cuzzillo Fan Cam✨💕 @gcuzzillo.bsky.social’s level design talk was my favorite of GDC!!!!! Baby Steps was robbed at the awards and I will never shut up about this

I asked GDC if I could kill someone on stage and they didn’t even blink

THEY SPOTTED MY STAGE DIRECTION 🫣

here's the moment from IGF rehearsals yesterday when @karriebear.bsky.social stabbed Andy Schatz onstage for the first time with the full confetti blood effect, and i knew it was gonna be a special night

the IGF awards mean a lot to me! i've participated in them over the years as a judge, juror, dev, and above all a fan. what an honor to work on the ceremony itself with @teddydief.com and @karriebear.bsky.social, who are both absolute powerhouses, to celebrate these games and the folks who make them

hey gdc: come to the picnic tables in the park in the next ~hour if you want an ass-kicking* *free STARFRIENDS deck with bonus disc

My entire goal was to make it a love letter to the IGFs and ALL indies best community on earth bar none

CRYING thank youuuu 🙇‍♀️🙇‍♀️🙇‍♀️🙇‍♀️🙇‍♀️

The stuff we are doing for the IGF Awards is 100x dumber than this video we made to promote it. Really proud to be directing this chaos with Karrie 😌 See you at GDC!!!

I'm delighted to join Game Makers Notebook to chat with @caraellison.bsky.social! Cara is SO prolific, from Rockstar to The Guardian to a novel to Ghost Town. Such a thoughtful career retrospective and I'm still thinking about the lifechanging power of people saying "who don't you just do it??"

okay for the first time this year i'm legit bummed to miss gdc

one of my faaaaaaaavorite lines

someday I will stop beating myself up about every single thing I do, and I will get everything done so much faster without nearly as much self-inflicted pain and anxiety and stress and depression .........BUT UNTIL THEN--

🚨 @karriebear.bsky.social is hosting the IGFs! 🏆 ALSO, I'm honored to co-direct the show with Karrie + co-write with her & @robdubbin.bsky.social 🤍 We have fun. We expect you, too, will have fun, even if you lose! #IGF2026
