So, it turns out that now CNN and CBS News are under the control of the Ellison family, they are considering asking Elon Musk to join them. We need independent, pro-democracy media to grow. If you agree, please subscribe to Democracy Docket now. demdock.com/4w6emld

Replying to @witwarrior.bsky.social

I saw this quote elsewhere and it’s appropriate here. This administration has treated Ghislane Maxwell with more respect and care than they have troops that are tasked with protecting us everyday. Shame on them.

My entire life I’ve never called it the FIFA World Cup. I’ve always called it the World Cup. Fans don’t give a shit about FIFA. If national teams showed up for a World Cup tournament not held by FIFA we would all watch it. World Cup is the brand. FIFA is nothing.

For a guy who claims he’s not a Nazi, Elon Musk sure does say a lot of Nazi stuff.

This would make him the Republican successor to Donald Trump.

BREAKING: Graham Platner said he is “taking the time to reflect on the best path forward” for his candidacy minutes after POLITICO reported that a woman who dated him said he forced her to have sex with him, which he denies. www.politico.com/news/2026/07...

I’ve never understood the hate people give Taylor Swift for going to a game. She’s a charitable, hardworking, self made success. She continually proves it by donating to charity and paying the people who work for her on her tours well. Let her enjoy her life.

Taylor Swift Updates@taylorswiftinfo.bsky.social

Knicks player, Jose Alvarado on Taylor Swift attending their games: “That’s a surreal superstar, and I was happy she was cheering us on. And seemed like she was having a good time, and we won, so even better…She’s got to come more often”

Mexican’s know exactly how the Iranian team feels. They get some of the same treatment from the American 🇺🇸

It legit breaks my heart that the United States is no longer a welcoming country. Even with the World Cup, we’re watching other countries show the kind of warmth and humanity we used to claim as our own.

Marco Rubio is against birthright citizenship. But Marco Rubio *is* a birthright citizen. Ted Cruz is against birthright citizenship. But Ted Cruz was born in Canada. He only got US citizenship by a birthright citizenship law because of his US mother. They are both shameless hypocrites.

Steyer might be cooked in politics. More is coming about paid influencers promoting his campaign w/out proper disclosures. Now he’s trailing in the latest poll. But the biggest scandal is that he’s able to outspend his opponents with the $ millions he made from fossil fuel and private prisons.

He’s sure to get the MAGA and Republican vote now. They like Stupidity

Christopher Webb@cwebbonline.com

FLASHBACK: This was back in February. Did people not listen to Spencer Pratt’s sister? She literally warned folks: “A vote for him is a vote for stupidity.” And I’ll add that he has no qualifications to run anything, let alone the second-largest city in the US.

“Cotton-picking hands” aimed at a Black man in 2026, and Republicans still have the nerve to ask why Black voters want nothing to do with the party of bigots. 📌 A host referred to Hakeem Jeffries as having “cotton-picking hands,” and Republican Rep. Jen Kiggans responded: “Yes to that.”
