In an age of LLMs and streaming text, we need to stop trying to get markdown to play ball and restrict the syntax. I specced a stricter markdown sub(er)set several years ago and wondered if it was strict enough to support true streaming. Turns out penguin flavoured markdown was ahead of its time.

Trying to wrap my head around parts of ATProto. Is the following correct? 1. Alice joins Blue Sky. 2. Alice writes something awful and Blue Sky decides that they do not want to deal with Alice and bans her. 3. Alice loses all her data stored on the Blue Sky PDS and is essentially screwed.

Are there plans to mitigate this scenario somehow? I understand that you can back up your own data but in practice who is actually going to do this? Other than nerdy users like myself.
