It’s striking how almost everybody who actually makes a living as an influencer now seems to be completely miserable + on the point of total breakdown from having to churn out content essentially every waking hour (as that’s what the algo requires). Living like that is inhuman.

the older I get the more I deeply understand and envy Bill Watterson and his total disgust with pretty much everything in our culture. I can only imagine how he’s feeling right now.

I replaced my 11 year-old Cintiq this week and it was surprisingly emotional. I spent a lot of hours promising to finish my children's book on this thing.

Know it’s very unoriginal to say or do but I’ve been looking at Bill Watterson’s original art and the linework is pretty damn tasty. There is both a precision and unprecious way the strokes are done.
