I’m Kit Harrison! I’m a dangerously tall voice actor - I’ve been in Genshin Impact, Smite, Mashed, and I was once butchered in the mountains by the Baldur’s Gate hotties! I have a broadcast-quality home studio, I like to lift heavy stone, and I love you. Check my webzone at www.kitharrison.com!

kitharrison.comKit Harrison | Voice ActorKit Harrison is a professional voice actor based in the UK, with a powerful, distinctive voice and a broadcast-quality home studio to use it in. He isn't Jon Snow.

Your value isn't dependent on the money you make, the roles you book, the numbers underneath your shitposts, etc. Your value is right there, and it was there the moment you existed, and cannot be taken. I know you can't see it. But you are worth so much. Don't let anyone make you feel otherwise.

Fantastic little thread from Lozza here. This industry needs to do as much as it can to support disabled actors, and it's not good enough to just rely on the expectation that middle-class, able-bodied people can 'just' get themselves around and everyone else gets to watch that happen.

I do not want to bean soup Radderss' post here, but express just how inaccessible parts of this industry are + leave disabled VAs without work and feeling left behind, and Radderss is not alone. I also cannot source work or auditions due to ME. If you can't get an agent, where do you get work?

I know they’re called the Hidden King and the Archmother but as far as I’m concerned I will exclusively refer to them as Mr. and Mrs. Deadlock

One of the great injustices of this world is that I don’t particularly want a Bugatti or a Maserati but I must still work bitch

All the weightlifting had had a casualty in the form of the fact that my entire suit wardrobe is too small for me, hence the new one. I also now have a 19.5 inch neck, which means nobody stocks shirts that fit me any more! All my clothes are gonna have to come out of the internet going forward!

Happy Friday gamers! I’ve just got done with a bunch of lifting, auditions and I’m going to be settling in with some mead, cats to cuddle and anime to Consume. Hope your weekend is going to heal and rest you up just as much!

My 7th birthday present was a slimline PS1 (a “PS one”) bundled with Spyro 2, Crash 3 and Rayman 1, and dear reader I fear it was all over for Kit then and there

Woke up to a bunch of people sharing obviously botted/copypasta hate of Matt Mercer. Guy’s so dislikable everyone’s feedback is the same talking points in the same order. It’s just so…average. 😜

Here goes facts: If your faith and trust in your own relationship is so weak that you’re scared of losing your partner to a fictional character in their own committed relationship, you are either in a shitty relationship or you are not emotionally ready for the one you think you currently have

Concerned partners on social media believe that GTA 6's in-depth relationship mechanic is equivalent to cheating on your real-life partner and worth breaking up over. https://t.co/JuNFBdStfR

I am super happy it’s doing well but I urge caution about the framing that the revenue “justifies” not shelving the film. It should always have come out even if it was a nuclear flop. Art should ALWAYS be given a chance to fly, whether it goes big now, goes big later or never goes big at all.

‘COYOTE VS. ACME’ has now officially surpassed the $30M amount Warner Bros. originally planned to write the film off for. The film is now projected to earn over $60M domestically.

Fair warning but for me this isn’t a nuanced stance. If I catch you sharing this shit I’m not associating with you any longer.

As a new Harry Potter trailer makes the rounds, it bears repeating that there’s no way to watch this show without supporting J.K. Rowling’s bigotry and the structural violence she’s inflicting on the trans community.

It’s important to clarify as this may have been unclear that I do not agree with Sony here, I was pointing out that the language of owning games being “a license, potentially finite” has been the way buying games has historically been described legally, it is just much more enforceable digitally.

Kit Harrison@kitharrison.com

I feel like there are a lot of folk who are being wilfully obtuse about the language here. You can hold two opinions at the same time: 1) It sucks that in a digital-only ecosystem your ability to play a game can be taken away 2) I do not legally OWN my games, I own access to COPIES of them

If you're not using asbestos yet, you are being left behind. Everyone is using asbestos, there's no point in trying to fight it. Asbestos is the future.

Sony says "reasonable consumers" know they don’t own the digital PlayStation games they buy. It argues that it's "not plausible" to suggest that when they buy a digital game they actually believe they're "obtaining ownership" of it. www.videogameschronicle.com/news/sony-sa...

I will never argue more controlled access isn’t worse, but lots of people speak about this as though there was an old halcyon era where it was always 100% okay to just upload your Battlestar Galactica DVDs to YouTube, and I think those extreme opinions damage sensible discussion. Maybe deliberately.

I once saw a meme that said there’s nothing funnier than being strong in a career path that has absolutely no need for it. And reader, I took that seriously.

This should never have to be something that the creator of one of the single most popular and influential pieces of media in modern times even THINKS, let alone feels the need to say. It feels trite but think about the impact your words have when you’re part of a millions-strong chorus of fans.

I'm sorry everybody. I really wish I could have been better for all of you.

“Guys we went too far, be nicer to Goose” Congratulations, you have successfully realised that plants need water after setting fire to a forest. Do better FROM THE WORD GO. It’s not enough to learn where the Line is after you’ve crossed it.

Just seen an influx of people follow me from a starter pack of Dallas/Fort Worth voice actors. That’s very flattering but I feel the first thing you need to know is that I am offensively, unrecoverably British
