Rod will somehow manage to argue that liberals are both the decadent Weimar Republic that provoked the rise of the Nazis *and* the Nazis themselves.

I have refused many invitations to be interviewed by Piers Morgan over the years. This time I made an exception, on the condition that it be one-on-one, not a scream fest, and that it actually be about the book Astra and I wrote. It was... an experience. youtu.be/SMFQBQx-qSU

obama and the out of touch elites don’t understand that for most americans, cheesecake factory is the fanciest restaurant in all history. for them, the abcs are like mozart. they think of stewie griffin as socrates. liberals must stop condescending them.

Finally getting started on season 2 of The Lowdown and Betty Gilpin is exactly the right kind of chaos to put up against Ethan Hawke in this show.

"Where's he supposed to put his foot?" - something no commentator ever said about a Romero straight red that was lighter than that yellow for Palmer.

Ah yes, "North Tustin," the unincorporated mostly white community that wants to trade on goodwill associated with Tustin but not pay the taxes or have to live next door to the wrong sort of person. Good on Kylie, cause her family are most likely staunchly anti-union.

I have three complementary surveillance metaphors I prefer to use: * The selfie * The interrotron * The dash cam

Julian Sanchez@normative.bsky.social

I’m not sure the Panopticon is still a relevant metaphor. The point there was that a concealed machinery of surveillance could make everyone behave AS IF surveilled, even though the watchers could only observe a few people at once. We seem to have effectively superceded that technical limitation.
