spot illos for R.F. Kuang's Babel - Illustrated edition these were all made at around 4" on the longest size and printed even smaller in the book, so they had to be clear and readable at a small size, while still retaining a good amount of detail spots are really fun to conceptualize and draw!

Done with AF this year & it was a ride! 17 Attacks total - 12 being drawings That’s 2 drawings more then last year Seeing people wo managed 30-40+ attacks who still feel like they are slow puts my own pace into perspective. It never feels enough so I remain slow but I have made my peace with that😂

I also realised I like the bigger attacks more than the smaller ones even though they don’t allow me to hit as many people. I think I will keep tokens for revenges as an option, but I want to focus more on “bigger” pieces and attacks next year if I manage to (Let’s see how that holds up 😖)

Overall this was a good Fight! I feel it helped me grow as an Artist (to loose that pesky perfectionism one attack at a time) and it helped drag me out of a bit of a dark place by giving me something to do on bad nights I am insanely greatful for this art community event & all who participate 🖤✨

I managed to revenge everybody (thanks to the tokens!) & to attack every new Artfighter from my bubble who joined this year (that I was aware of) I also feel like I improved a bit from last year, especially when it comes to colors. Muted palettes my beloved I will not let you go again! Goals met!
