Since couple months ago, I made browser engine from scratch with Swift programming language. No WebKit engine! The purpose is curiosity how far I can use Swift programming language to make browser engine. Scrolling long content works well, the CSS animation works well too.

Of course with AI/LLM help but with strict rules. The minus thing in this browser engine is it uses JavaScriptCore (JavaScript engine) from Safari. But, rendering engine is built from scratch.

With AI the code is cheap. The true challenge is whether I understand the meaning of the code itself. Because I'm newbie in the Swift programming language and browser engine area. The curiosity is the key to achieve how far I can make it happen! The journey still continue...

👀 A new official adapter option is coming in SvelteKit 3! The Bun adapter takes advantage of Bun-specific API:s like Bun.serve(), Bun.file() and Bun.env for the best possible performance! Try it on Kit 3.0 pre-release with npx sv@next create #svelte #bun

@thisismissem.social @divy.zone and I recently went through an exploration of how the browser can help you login to websites with atproto accounts. We recently presented to the FedID CG and here is a sneak peek in case you couldn't join! This is early but we'd love your input before we go too far!

Hi! I'm working on a new HTML feature: filterable select There are two proposed API shapes so far: 1. Nesting <input> in <select> 2. Sibling <input> for listbox <select> w/id ref Option 1 is more ergonomic, but would break selects in older browsers Thoughts? (Both currently in Canary w/flag)

I look the job as software developer based on the tool I use for example Svelte. But, there's no job available in the sveltejobs. Meanwhile if I look into the neighbour like Vue, it shows a lot. So sad.

your token costs: lower your server costs: lower your bandwidth costs: lower not to mention the fact that you'll ship in half the time and tear out less hair in the process. just use @svelte.dev, people. it's like other frameworks but better

We measured the LLM token cost of 5 frontend frameworks on identical components. Svelte wins, Angular costs 38% more — and your AI bill feels it. #webdevelopment

My own SaaS lives now. But invitation limited. Feel free to DM if you want to try. :) Or maybe I will DM the people I know well. ;)

In 15 years, I've never seen my Hungarian friends so hopeful. I wish I already had my Hungarian citizenship so I could go and vote. We're all rooting for change with you. Cheers for an even bigger celebration after you turn the page tomorrow. Most vagy soha! 🇭🇺 ♾️ 🇪🇺

Take a Joy-Con and connect it with WebHID, draw a picture in the air and capture it with the sensors. Create an SVG path and insert in the DOM. Apply CSS styling. Sample the DOM and use WebUSB to convert to ILDA and send it to a laser projector. I created the worlds most complicated laserpointer…

Alright. Leap forward: many improvements on the browser engine with Swift: the chrome enhanced (address bar + bookmark - finally I can edit the URL 🥺) new window (Cmd+N).
