Hi Krishna, Your GitHub backlog is slowing you down. We turn any GitHub issue into production-ready code in 24 hours. No junior devs. No project management overhead. No 2-week sprints. Just: Issue → Working code tomorrow. $299. 24h guaranteed. Limited founder spots.

We’re up against a terrifyingly corrupt president abetted by a deeply compromised Supreme Court. It’s going to take new tools and different applications of the old tools to confront the threat we face. No shame in that.

Trump’s Retribution Requires a New Way of Covering Bogus Criminal Cases talkingpointsmemo.com/morning-memo...

I renewed my passport online and it took 2 weeks to get my new book at home. No expedites, just regular process. Very smooth - just fill out a form and upload a photo taken from your camera. Looks like some Biden era programs are still running on autopilot. Hope DOGE doesn’t notice 😅

🚫 𝙇𝙞𝙩𝙩𝙡𝙚’𝙨 𝙇𝙖𝙬 does not say… • Reducing cycle time automatically increases throughput • Lowering WIP automatically reduces cycle time • More arrivals automatically mean longer lead times 𝗛𝗼𝘄𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿… there 𝙞𝙨 a real causal mechanism built into 𝙇𝙞𝙩𝙩𝙡𝙚’𝙨 𝙇𝙖𝙬.

If you measure the right things, and apply causal inference correctly, you can reason reliably about cause and effect with Little's Law — even in complex, dynamic environments like software development.

Takes a lot of chutzpah to make a $290 million political donation, assume a powerful position in government, use that power to fire tens of thousands of people and do immeasurable harm to American state capacity, and expect not to have to answer for it afterwards.

David Pogue: “I’m wondering what your thought is on the ban on foreign students, the proposal. I mean, you were one of those kids, right?” Elon Musk: “Yeah. I mean, I think we wanna stick to, you know, the subject of the day, which is, like, spaceships, as opposed to, you know, presidential policy"

Measles outbreaks are back. Grocery and gas prices are up. Bird flu is spreading. All our allies hate us. Air travel is getting unsafe. The stock market is tanking. The government is about to shut down. And he’s only been President for six weeks. This is just the beginning.

Donald Trump has disgraced the United States of America in countless ways since he first entered political life ten years ago. But he had never disgraced the nation as badly as he did today. He has brought shame on this country to an extent I had never thought possible. And he has only just begun.

Volodymyr Zelensky's Oval Office visit ended early when Donald Trump and JD Vance began angrily yelling at him. Here's why women like Kamala Harris and Hillary Clinton are too emotional to be president.

Gregg is a former Marine and Forest Service ranger. He's saved the lives of hikers dangling off a cliff or going through cardiac arrest, and he's bravely fought forest fires to save small rural towns. 100% of his salary is paid by WA state. Elon fired him. Share his story.

“Build your own fucking pedigree”! Indeed. The amount of time people waste mimicking what the SV companies do instead of figuring their own unique competitive advantage in their own market is astounding! But we also have an entire industry of “thought leaders” who encourage this. So 🤷

Charity Majors@charity.wtf

But nope! Mostly what we're witnessing is the compound interest of advantage. If you run an engineering org, stop competing for the already pedigreed, and build an org that rewards curiosity, effort, hard work, teamwork, and caring, as well as brains. Build your own fucking pedigree.

Wow, that was fast. Irving Energy, company that provides propane/fuel oil customers in New England, says it will pass on the full 10% tariff cost to all their customers immediately (reposting with fixed figure - meant to say 10%, not 30%)

I can report some progress on the Racoon problem The latest version still can’t handle no raccoons and is less creative about solutions, but at least it is aware that it is screwing up and automatically retries three times before giving up. Progress..

The Bluesky A.I. data fiasco is a good teaching moment to shine light on how billion-dollar tech companies are scraping as much of the Internet as possible — social media, videos, trillions of words, billions of images — at industrial scale, with no real oversight, transparency or opt-out.

The thing is..your customers and users don’t give any thought to what developers are working on right now. Keeping it that way is what “developer productivity” should be all about. Not whatever BS It is that we do in the name of productivity.

Replying to @johncutle.fish

But there is also the uncomfortable reality that tapping into populism is a frequent strategy for oligarchs seeking to consolidate power authoritarian regimes aiming to suppress dissent and corporate efforts to drive profits by appealing to simplified narratives and broad emotional appeal. 6/n

One of my favorite Jack Handey Deep Thoughts is “If you're a cowboy and you're dragging a guy behind your horse, I bet it would really make you mad if you looked back and the guy was reading a magazine.” I think that’s how conservatives feel about bluesky
