Everyone's been complaining that discord servers are closed off gardens and that people want to be able to find whatever the fuck people are talking about in them, the new change is essentially making public servers into public forums and I also assume you'll have an option to opt out. Its fine imo

I decided to look into the anime movies that have come out in North America over the past 3 years or so to put the Madoka movie release date in context Madoka is quite bad (12th worst of 43 movies I have on the list). Pretty similar to another Aniplex movie distributed through Fathom: Virgin Punk

Most of the movies with quick turnarounds were recap movies, but Overlord, Demon Slayer, Chainsaw Man, and GQuuuuuuX were all under 2 months. So were Scarlet, 100m, and All You Need is Kill.

I feel like back in 2016 everyone I knew was like "how the fuck have you not seen nichijou? It's peak" And in the past like year or two I've learned that like 10 people I know think it's not actually that funny

One of my NAS drives had some read errors, so I'm running diagnostics to see how fucked I am (answer: mildly, because my drives have a high probability of dying during the rebuild). Kinda funny seeing some of the stats on the drives though. 7 years of power on time, but only 86 power cycles

The self tests are done and only the one drive is showing errors but it's 3am so this rebuild is gonna have to wait

I made some anime trivia for my friends and they all got mad at me because I said this was an easy question (they've all seen the show it's from) So, I ask you all (without looking it up), "What line comes next?"

We need Crimecop to make the law legal again

union person@junlper.beer

it’s amazing that there’s no crime anymore. if you do crime you’re actually just the victim for getting caught. the people who catch you are the criminals

People are posting 9 animes so I am also posting 9 animes Wouldn't consider these my favorites, but they're probably the anime that shaped my life the most

Kunal
@kunaldes.bsky.social

And here's 9 manga. Shonen stuff is a bit overrepresented here but that's mostly because I read a lot of it when I was younger. Feel like I could fill another 3x3 with honorable mentions

I'm running Debian on my laptop because every other distro I've tried has either failed spectacularly or had some default that really annoyed me that I didn't want to work around

@kunaldes.bsky.social

For the curious: Arch: failed (boot partition corrupted) Fedora: failed (regularly fails to boot, WiFi issues) Ubuntu: annoying (snap store) Mint: annoying (X over Wayland) Bazzite: annoying (keepassx extension broken on flatpak, WiFi issues) Cachy: failed (apps stopped launching after first update)

ChatGPT, Claude, and Grok Are Down

macrumors.comChatGPT, Claude, and Grok Are DownIt is apparently not a good day for AI chatbots, as ChatGPT, Claude, and Grok are all down or experiencing issues for many users. OpenAI's status page acknowledges issues across ChatGPT and Codex, while Grok's website notes that it is currently experiencing issues as well. Likewise, Anthropic's status page indicates Claude is experiencing elevated errors. All of the companies are investigating the issues.Tag: ChatGPT This article, "ChatGPT, Claude, and Grok Are Down" first appeared on MacRumors.com Discuss this article in our forums
