My things are misinformation, education, and sociology so I absolutely see how that could be confused with conspiratorial thinking.
So. New rule. If you think I’m going too far out on a limb, assume I’m not, tag me in a separate post. Don’t accidentally spread misinformation in my replies.
Do me a favor: remember that to non-Black people, I am Black. No one else has to acknowledge it but non-Black people treat me as a Black woman anyway, so it’s best to consciously recognize that.
Obama’s Cheesecake Factory decor joke is going to continue to get far more play in the media, days after it happened, than RFK Jr being openly racist. Draw your own conclusions about the press based on that.
Hasan Piker acting like anyone who dislikes him is a jealous hater is hilarious, I am not jealous of his callous disregard for animal welfare or his contempt for other human life and his lack of intellectual curiosity
I don’t have a number for any of those things because they’re not tempting
I put steak juice on my hand earlier so my dog could try my steak without making herself sick
If anything, I would think Piker is pitiable and pathetic if he wasn’t so gross and manipulative
“Since we’re telling the truth…go ahead and block me”:
✅ White men started this messed up experiment named by a colonizer who misnamed it “America”, but it’s white women who keep it going
That uncommitted bullshit was the ultimate in Anti Blackness. And as I’ve said repeatedly, the most silent of American is the Muslim American community about this.
And now for you White Women in GA who claim to be “allies”—go ahead and split your vote and vote against Keisha Lance Bottoms for Gov.
Do it. Come back here and then try to justify in to BlueSky. See what fucking happens next.
You will be begging me to block you.

My mind: It could be bc you’re working really hard, not getting much sleep, haven’t been taking your vitamins, and constantly staring at digital screens.

I didn’t post about this because it was just too tragic for me. An Asian Indian father hired a hit man to kill, and he did, his pregnant black daughter in law, because he didn’t want his son marrying black nor did he want black grandchildren.
This isn’t always true but generally speaking tech isn’t seen as directly or long-term impacting employment because new, “revolutionary“ tech generally isn’t launched when the job market is already super messed up. AI is pushing the limits of what people will tolerate on purpose, for fun
This is weird? Bizarre? unusual? Suspicious?
If I had to guess they really, really don’t think people need to work anymore because the people pushing this forward have no idea what people or machines do anymore and it’s making their Fascism worse
I’m trying to think of a case of people hatcheting jobs that wasn’t managed by the prevailing militaries of the time and nothing but fiber arts comes to mind except this isn’t what happened to fiber arts either? It’s like the same playbook if the people in charge were even stupider somehow

Guy shouting
"YOU AREN'T POLICE YOU ARE CATTLE"
Vučić tried to violently steal the election after losing, but a 70% turnout made it impossible to rig 600k votes. Forced to concede, his "police" actually private criminals dressed in uniform had to retreat past enraged protesters.

And that’s true whether you’re for or against it in principle. Add that to all the other sketchy ways they are testing the boundaries of legality with billions of dollars in tow (and in debt) and actually we have way more downstream problems than we should
If you collapsed several centuries of what the Industrial Revolution did to textiles into, like, ten years and then halved its social benefits but left its social costs the same (so ended at fast fashion and maybe 2012-ish), I think that’s the only way to get a similar case? I am not an economist
Guess what? In real life "well your child is learning the value of collaboration you selfish fuck [they are not actually collaborating they are teaching]" does not cut it for a parent
Look I learned about the virtues of peer2peer in my masters program too, but when I presented thisscenario they didn't have an answer for it. It is empirically understood that this method is good for underperforming kids and detrimental to high performing kids. And guess whose parents will complain?
This is exactly what they did to my (genius) oldest sister and guess what my parents did? Move to a better school district the second they could
Forcing small children into unpaid TAs is exactly how you get rid of those families
Teaching is a skill. We require teachers to have college degrees and professional certifications. We acknowledge that reading intervention, math intervention, and special education require even more specialized certifications. This is not something we should be outsourcing to bored seven year olds.
And I want to be clear here: this strategy also failed Philip. He didn't get the help he needed in that lesson because I did not understand what his actual needs were or how to help him. That was an hour of *his* time wasted as well, and he desperately needed that hour much more than I did.
I didn't understand that what I was doing wasn't actually teaching Philip anything. I didn't understand that I was not helping him. Because I was seven! I wasn't trained in teaching, I didn't know what learning disabilities were.
It's absolutely not fair to expect that from elementary school kids.
When I was in second grade I was strong at math. I got partnered with a kid named Philip who struggled. I was supposed to "help" him with double digit addition. I would basically do the problems and say "see how that worked?" I then got in trouble for doing all the work.
Again. I was seven!
This isn't really fair to gifted kids who aren't trained teachers and don't know how to teach. It's also not fair to the kids who are struggling and need actual, targeted instruction from an adult who knows how to help kids with learning difficulties.
"But what do we do with the gifted kids, they'll just sit in class and twiddle their thumbs?"
I don't know, I guess it's impossible for them to help their classmates, or work on a project in class that uses their curiosity and also teaches their classmates something. <shrug> Guess we can't!
Keeping my expectations low because white racists love raising people’s hopes before crushing them under their Fascist as part of their weird mating rituals or something
Part of the danger of letting weirdos do whatever they anti-social thing they want is it gets that much more difficult to tell what’s real from what’s fake

I am already ready done with y’all. 409 years of this and you blame everything but your pasty asses.
Vote or don’t vote.
But I don’t want to hear your damn excuses and you’d best not blame Blacks and Jews for this shit.

You might as well stand for democracy because this didn’t sustainable and I have ZERO confidence that white people and their pick-mes of every color will do the right thing next week.
I’m looking to get banned/suspended soon, so here are some of my favorite new memes for you all to steal and remember me by.
And ™️ are no longer in effect, use my catchphrase with impunity, I don’t care anymore.
I’m almost 40 and have lived in Oklahoma my whole life. The amount of people (family or not) I’ve heard say “I may be poor but at least I’m not a (you know what word they said)” or some version of that over my lifetime makes it obvious why they vote the way they do
