Current reads. About 70% through IT. Halfway through Molka (on audio). Both are good, spooky reads.

Full Starfleet honors. RIP Walter.

Percy Jackson fandom is tempting me. Anyone read the books? Are they really for kids ?

I’m back to Bsky! I had some people text me about something I posted about like 5 mins after I said it on here so I got a little paranoid but all is good.

It really feels like this should be my job title some days.

There is a delicious chill in the air this morning and I’ve got a hot coffee and bagel and a book to read while I enjoy it

Meant to ask someone to shoot me an email about something but got distracted mid sentence and sent “can you shoot me” 🤣 some days it’s like that.

My daughter’s latest masterpiece

Cinnamon roll Saturday !

First book of PTO done. I give it 3 stars. Not my usual genre but I was interested in the female friendships.

Wife: Why do you watch so many serial killer psycho shows? Me: I’m trying to watch something more uplifting than the news.

Wendell Berry has died at age 92 He was a beloved American poet, novelist, essayist, and farmer. n.pr/4zJRiuN

People who are chronically online do not realize how chronically offline some people are. Just because people have a phone in hand all day doesn’t mean they have a clue what’s actually going on.

My husband is embroiled in a war with a squirrel. Squirrel is winning.

Out of office is on. Phone is off. Yay PTO.

Six weeks vs 4 months. She still so smol. My baby Athena.

I turned the volume on my phone off last night and still I was woken at 6:30 to outlook notifications 😠

When you log into chaos after three previous days of chaos and decide it’s a 2 drink day. I haven’t had any outside coffee drinks in awhile so it probably balances out. Or I’m going to pretend it does.

Monday vibes

Sigh. I would love if the healthcare system could stop undoing all the work I’ve put in to get my husband to trust doctors.

The Long-wattled Umbrellabird (Cephalopterus penduliger) are the weirdest birds, from pompadour/mohawk to long fleshy neck-tie shaped wattle that converts to a feather duster on command. Native to the Pacific coasts of Ecuador & Colombia, these extraordinary accessories are mostly found in males.

I got a tattoo and my husband is jokingly calling me a “tramp stamped jezebel” Sir it’s a pawprint on my arm.

A friend messaged me for help crafting an email. I realized we the readers and writers were ChatGPT before ChatGPT existed. 😂

Thor isn’t excited about work today but has begrudgingly settled in with his pen and paper.

Playing Project Zomboid with Matt and it went as well as real life would. I swung my crowbar, missed the zombie, hit Matt in the head, the zombie attacks and turns him and I bash his head in.

The little river we magnet fished out of. It was a pretty day.

We took the niece and nephews magnet fishing today and caught half a dozen nails and some car parts lol. They were beyond excited though.

I didn’t properly hydrate yesterday and my body decided 3am was the time to do so. The poor bleary eyed pets bravely followed me down to get and drink a glass of water but they are so over it

Listen, I might be a professional and an adult but I’m still gonna giggle when someone emails me about sending them “hoes” instead of “hose”

Are my pets recreating The Shining? Do I let them watch too many horror movies?

I knew Taylor Farms was involved in this diarrhea bug because their advertising seemed to blow up in the last few weeks. Like every other ad was for them and I was like “this is super weird to be going so hard on lettuce right now 🧐 “ and oh look it was probably intentional.

Welcome to the most important job you'll ever have @andyburnham.bsky.social Cartoon brilliance by @bjennings90.bsky.social for @theguardian.com

Federal health officials said that a multistate outbreak of cyclosporiasis that has sickened thousands of people has been linked to shredded iceberg lettuce served at Taco Bell restaurants in five states. https://wapo.st/4yrY5si

Someone called the cyclospora outbreak MAHA Blast and I'm cackling like I'm 13 again.

Here is a kitten in pajamas

Rare night time thunderstorms. The kitten and Socks scampered to me. Thor sat in the window purring at the lightning. I guess I named him right. “Ah yes I will commune with my storm”

Life of a kitten. Go psycho for 30 mins then nap.

Afternoon naps on the laptop. She is trying so hard to keep on top of her deliverables.

Judged for not being @lyse.myatproto.social

We have AC! 5 in-law visits and it’s been accomplished! Our half bath is now also an icebox but that will probably feel fantastic during hot flashes

Brother in law is here to fix AC so I have ordered our weight in Mexican food.
