One week ago today, a lawmaker and her husband were shot and killed in an act of political violence. But you’d hardly know it based on today’s headlines. I can’t get over how quickly the country has gotten over it. That’s terrifying unto itself.

We’ve bombed Iran. And dismantled our joint terrorism task force. And sent a third of the FBI to help ICE. And gutted the National Security Council. And a drunk guy is in charge at the pentagon. And our intelligence allies probably won’t share intel with us. Because people couldn’t vote for a woman.

WE HAVE QUESTIONS… This is a kidnapping. No uniform, no badge, civilian car. Who are they? ICE? Sanctioned bounty hunters? Either way, they’re grabbing people without warrants. How often is this happening, and why aren’t more people talking about it? Congress?

I think the folks looking at the footage from DJT's Silly Sad Parade and saying our troops don't know how to march are missing the point. *Of course* they know how to march. Many of them didn't. They simply walked. That speaks volumes. There are many ways to get in the way.

Look what I found when I searched "ICE uniform" in Google Shopping. None of us have any way of knowing if the "ICE agent" pushing you into a car, isn't just some unbalanced vigilante into cosplay. These are very dangerous times.

CEO pay is up 1,085% since 1978, while typical worker pay is up just 24%.  Why do we always hear "we can't afford to pay our workers more" but never "we can't afford to pay our CEO more"?
