Going to guess all those Phantom Blade Zero reviews are from the PC version. It runs somewhere between "not great" and "I can't believe they were allowed to ship this" on a PS5 Pro, depending on if you're set to graphics or performance or raytracing on or off.

I can confirm that this client runs like shit.

Latest development of the Malick Fofana circus. Romain discussing the transfer saga from last night. This is becoming more and more common. This is quite sad in a way. Great player but glad or understand that #Arsenal kept away from it. Happy read. And hit a follow to Romain, well worth it

As I've reported in the past, almost all of Guerrilla Games has been working on Horizon Hunters Gathering for the last few years, and the next mainline single-player Horizon game is still far, far away.

Hey everybody. I’ve seen the statement by Matt Karch, the CEO of Saber Entertainment, and all of the truly horrendous things he said about me. I think it should be obvious to anyone who reads that statement that he’s lashing out because he did not want people to know there was AI use in the game.

Should be a national holiday when this transphobic piece of shit kicks the bucket

Just so predictable. Labour got themselves into this because those who aren't True Believers thought they could appease those who are then the issue would go away. Not so. The GCs are obsessives attempting a top down reorientation of our culture to spite a minority they despise. They must be fought.

Workers will pay the price as always

This isn't a joke, it's not hyperbole, this is what they actually said - and GN mentioned the same is happening to companies like G. Skill who have been selling RAM to consumers for *decades*

James GHOULizio 👻@theswweet.myatproto.social

Finally watched the GN Steam Machine video, hearing Valve employees say that the real reason some Steam Machines are going to only be 1 stick of RAM is "the memory companies give us a price and what we can buy, and if we say no they will never work with us again" is actually insane

Maybe, just maaaaayyyybeeeee the concept of exclusives is considered by some to be far more important than it is in reality. Dedicated PC players weren't buying consoles before console games started coming to PC and they still won't buy consoles once console games stop coming to PC. Shrug.

Lashley93 reposted

So exclusives were walked away from in varying degrees because they weren't providing enough return and now the multiplatform strategies aren't providing enough return so we're going back to the exclusives that weren't doing enough and when these exclusives again don't provide enough return we'll...

I sometimes worry that too many people think being a good critic means being a self-righteous dick about every little thing and I think far too many miss the point that you can't critique anything if you don't know how to love something.

This bit in the From Russia With Love game made me laugh out loud. You've got a fairly grounded, low key fight based on the one in the movie, then the most video game looking fucker of all time slides into frame.

So, shift in strategy from market expansion and revenue growth to margin protection. Younger and less affluent players aren't going to leave their established games and low barrier of entry platforms, and dedicated PC players will just play other things. But sure, higher margin % on lower revs.
