Elon Musk boosted the lie that James Talarico stayed at a mental hospital. Meta suspended No Kings’ Instagram account during nationwide actions. Staff at the Ellison-owned CBS News were reportedly told to tie Abdul El-Sayed to the Muslim Brotherhood and 9/11. Democracy dies in billionaire hands.

No Kings in Massachusetts. No Kings in America. We are out fighting to protect our democracy from dictators. Make your voice heard and vote this November.

I am angry tonight. Because tonight ICE shot a New Yorker. They shot a New Yorker while his five year old child was in the car. ICE makes this city less safe. We want them out. Now.

Congress had better get ready for this new generation of leadership. As Netanyahu prepared to speak, hundreds of New Yorkers blockaded the UN to demand an end to U.S. support for genocide — joined by Darializa Avila Chevalier, Chris Rabb, and Melat Kiros.

Right on! Don't let #AI oligarchs and their mouthpieces #greenwash in public without an equally public outcry #genocide #greenwashing #climate #ClimateAction #climatecrisis

SHAME on NYC Climate Week for inviting AI billionaires to sit on panels and greenwash their climate-destroying, genocide-enabling business model. Young people aren’t having it. All week, we’ve been hounding AI executives. They don’t deserve a moment’s peace.

We are projected to spend $268 BILLION on deportations — costing the average American taxpayer about $2,358 (according to @epi.org). But somehow we “can’t afford” to make sure hungry children can eat or ensure everyone, no matter their income, can access healthcare. Priorities.

It is a heartbreaking reality when the fear of losing insurance is just as paralyzing as a cancer diagnosis. This is pure cruelty hidden behind paperwork. We deserve better than a policy that gambles with our lives. #TrumpMakesUsSick

Tell Congress: Say No to Payouts for Insurrectionists. Do not round it up! It is intentionally $ 1.776 billion or #1776 ≠NOT equal a carefully considered sum based on adding up payouts. 1776 ≠ "dog whistle" - it is the rallying cry of violent right wing militias. act.indivisible.org/sign/tell-co...

act.indivisible.orgTell Congress: Say No to Payouts for InsurrectionistsEmail your Members of Congress and tell them to block the slush fund for insurrectionists.

#SlushFund Typical rounded $$$ figures: $1.7 billion $1.75 billion $1.8 billion $2 billion “$1.776 billion” is unusually precise, fits perfectly as “1776” This number is so specific, no one has publicly explained this number. Def≠math BUT does=symbolism. "Stand back and stand by" #fascist payout

Watching the All Roads Lead To The South YouTube stream and am overwhelmed with emotions. But more than that I'm just in awe of Black people. The resilience. The joy. The love for life and for ourselves no matter what. That's why I love us.

Running kids around solo this weekend but my heart is with those in Selma & Montgomery protesting the dilution of Black voices in government & eliminate strongest, most loyal voting bloc in the Democratic Party. 🧵 👇 All roads lead to the South.

TODAY: ALL ROADS LEAD TO THE SOUTH. Republican lawmakers across the South are carving up maps to dilute Black voting power and protect their own power because fair maps would threaten their grip. They knew the voters didn’t support this, so they went around them. 1/2
