just turned on a baseball game and saw that mitch mcconnell is batting seventh for the rockies. what the fuck are you doing man

Reminds me of when I pulled an all-nighter in college because the Minecraft mod we were making for an assignment wouldn't run. Realized at like 5AM we never called the update() function 😭

call me snobby but you can vibe code all you want, but until you spend 3 hours troubleshooting why a program won't compile before finding the singular missing semicolon or closing parenthesis that's causing the problem, you're not a programmer

There was an analogy I think of often, making video dames are similar to the construction of a very complex table. You can make a table incredibly beautiful and it can even sometimes reach the levels of art but at the end of the day there is still the expectation that it can be used as a table.

its always weird to me the way video game reviews don't separate tech issues out from a review of the game itself. mixing them together confuses "this is a review of a product" with "this is a review of a piece of art". Like rating a book lower cause the pages its printed on tear easily

My favorite moment from Combo Breaker this year was teaching the Axe/Sung shield drop method to a newer player, who only knew about (and struggled to) Shai drop. He looked at me like I had just shown him fire for the first time as he immediately started hitting it consistently!

Feels like I'm regressing a lot in Melee & Rising 😢 I'm hoping it's because I've been soaking more information and now having trouble parsing everything as I play, but man is it demotivating

I convinced a friend to play Frog Fractions. He went in blind, and came out a changed person. Right as he finished, another friend joined the Discord call, and we convinced him to play too. Now there are three of us in the cult. The cycle continues. The gospel spreads. 🐸📖

Too good not to share apaMEN, one of Japan's best pro League of Legends top laners, came out retirement as an emergency sub for DFM, Japan's representative for worlds. Though they went 0-2 and were one of the first teams eliminated, he had this to say in an interview

You are up to date.
