Born in the 70s, child of the 80s. Helping to support my mental health through rescuing and upcycling tired and broken 1980s toys. They're then sold on to fellow retro toy fans, to give them a 2nd life. Find me on eBay.

The Knight 3000 from the failed 1991 reboot Knight Rider 2000. I built this years ago and now it's ready for someone else's display. #90s #retro #toys #knightrider

I’ve been listening to Billy Idol’s Cyberpunk album since 1993 and never knew there was a special edition that included a promotional tie-in 3.5” floppy disc.

Another one of my custom Corgi Escort 55 vans. This time in Ocean Software livery, with some of their big hits advertised on it. U.S. Gold version coming next! #80s #toys #retro

Missing Link Grimlock! This toy is so damn good! #Transformers #Takara #MissingLink #Autobots #Dinobots #Grimlock #TyrannosaurusRex #Chrome #ToyPhotography

Working on a new project. Combining a well-loved Corgi van, with one of the biggest names in 1980s computer games! It's nearly ready... #80s #retro #ocean #games #toys

For lunch let's have some Real Ghostbusters potato snacks from Sooner Snacks! The cheese & bacon flavour were to die for and if I had a time machine grabbing a packet would be a priority. For now they haunt my tastebuds… who ya gonna call?

The orange felon says he’s going to withhold federal funds from Ohio if they vote blue in November. I’d love to see Ohio tell him to go fuck himself by overwhelmingly voting blue in the midterms.

Sunday night, it's speccy time! Playing two of my fave childhood games on my Retro Games The Spectrum, the brilliant reproduction of my first rubber-keyed computer... Chuckie Egg and Paperboy! #80s #games #zxspectrum #retro

My tribute to Wales's very own 1980s 8-bit micro-computer, the Dragon 32. A tired Corgi Escort AA van reborn as a Dragon Data delivery van! You know where to find it. #80s #toys #retro #wales #8bit

Just finished giving this Lesney Matchbox VW Camper a new lease of life, and a nice repro box to house it. Find it on eBay UK.👍 #toys #retro #lesney #matchbox #hotwheels

Too good to pull apart and repaint, I've added 3D-printed guns and exhausts, checked the electrics and lights work and it's ready for a cleanup and display!

I took my very scratched and non-functional yellow Corgi MG Maestro, stripped and repainted it and gave it a very UK-80s livery, especially in the mornings! Looks the part.👍 #80s #retro #tvam #toys

I really love finding an old, tired toy from the time of my childhood and making look and work (as good as I can) again. I sell them for others to enjoy, and fund this hobby. It's really satisfying and therapeutic. This is my latest. It's a 1980 UK-made Palitoy X-wing fighter.

Another very ill Palitoy X-wing fighter has dropped into my repair bay. It's now undergoing repairs and cleaning, before being decommissioned back into service! Find two others I've brought back from the dead on eBay UK. #80s #Starwars #retro #toys

Did you know that in Brazil, the Kenner and Palitoy moulds for their X-wing fighters were later, around 1988, reused by a Sao Paulo company called "Glasslite"? They produced the "ASA-X". This is my replica, based on a Tonka 1995 POTF example. They used the same castings, too! #toys #80s #retro

I worked on this all evening yesterday, turning a 1995 Tonka Power of the Force X-wing Fighter into a replica of the Brazilian Glasslite "ASA-X" version. Came out nice! Apparently, the real-deal was very brittle, and rare as hen's teeth! #toys #1980s

It's 40 years since Transformers The Movie dropped, and broke our childhood hearts with the death of Optimus Prime. His second-in-command took over (for a short time...). Ultra Magnus, Autobot Commander.

What was your favourite toy? Mine were set in the 1980s, obviously! My all time fave is my 1984 Optimus Prime, still in the box and mostly complete. I'll never let it go.

This vintage beauty just arrived at my home...it's in great condition, with original stickers and bettle damage stickers, too. It really just needs completing and a service to it's mechanism. The question is, do I just do this, or give it the full treatment with fresh stickers?🤔

I got a very tired, water-damaged and incomplete Tonka 1995 Power of the Force X-wing Fighter, and transformed it into a 1980s-style Kenner/Palitoy replica. Ready to do battle once again!
