PSA: The latest NVIDIA App update adds a Default-ON option that allows AI Agents to control the app... Might want to turn it off.. Even aside from being lame AI features, that feels like making security even worse by defaulting it ON.

A shame about the way Lord of the Flies is taught is that most skip the part about it being reality. This is the adults exist mythos. That people hit an age, and know how the world works. When in reality, it’s all lord of the flies, always has been, always will be. All of it. Kids just doing shit.

The Cornell 57. Possibly some awareness testing, but every person in that group chat is an accomplice to rape, trafficking, sexual assault. Want to discourage rape? Hold accountable all the people who did nothing, with the knowledge. Sure, maybe only prison for seven. Expel all. Criminalize all.

@warren.senate.gov You talk about fighting the regime, no impeachment push for his $1.3 trillion dollar bride offer last night? 18 USC 597? Or is all the fighting talk just, to get donations for shit you won’t even do in the seat?

The Trump administration just finalized its rule stripping gender-affirming care from Medicaid and CHIP. Advocates say there's still time to fight: it takes effect in October, and federal courts have already struck down two previous attempts to do this. The latest from our journalist S. Baum.

@t1diabetes.bsky.social Any chance you’d all like to massively explode your user-base with Dexcom devices that also track INR in the blood you’re checking glucose rates in? It’d be so handy, to just have that information readily available in real time. A bit of fine tuning, but triple the demand?

@meidastouch.com I assume y’all have a point-by-point recounting lined up for tonight, of what the conspiracies were, how the evidence played out- here’s the attack on poll workers, here’s when that was proven to be just sharing food. Here’s the claims about Georgia, here’s what happened- recounts,-

-confirmations, audits, audio of Trump wanting to just be given votes that did not exist, status of what happened, what Rathensberger said, etc. to just- piece by piece blow apart all of the obvious bullshit? Y’all seem well equipped for receipts.

Just to have the full, and so, Trump attempted this fake electors scheme, and Jan 6th, after his attempted election fraud was rejected by his own party- here he is watching the insurrection, guiding his cult to assassinate his own VP- Like, he wants to re-litigate 2020? I say let’s fuckin’ do it.

Heart issues are serious and I hope if anybody is experiencing them, that they can and do well. Personally? I want to stop laughing about Lindsey Graham’s death. It’s so painful this soon after open heart valve replacement. The giggles hurt so much. Get fucked you evil pro-rape shit stain.

Open heart surgery tomorrow at 5:00, so see y’all when my heart is beating again. Worst come, be gay, do crimes. If being gay is a crime, be crime, and do gay.

If manifesting was a thing, that piece of shit would have died decades ago. If the collective will of the majority of the planet won’t get it done, I question the method.

WE DON'T NEED PETROLEUM-BASED PLASTICS ANYMORE! "The [bamboo plastic] outperforms most commercial plastics and bioplastics in mechanical and thermo-mechanical metrics while maintaining full biodegradability in soil within 50 days and closed-loop recyclability with 90% retained strength."

I’ll admit to getting a little upset at testosterone ads for cis men because I start too excited. “I started testosterone…” Yeah! Get it done my man! Look at that beard! Listen to that voice! “…when I started feeling tired…” Oh. Just some cis dude with regular hormone issues. Cool, good times dude.

If you are dating someone with in-laws, to those people, you can be described as their <relation> outlaw. I am my girlfriend’s sister in-law’s sister outlaw. I will not be taking questions at this time.

The most organized aspect of the Democratic party for the past year has been giving the GOP the exact number of votes needed to do everything they want to do. Prove me wrong with any example, please? Losing my mind a bit as they continue to do nothing to even slow this shit.

América, Your No Kings protests were a good start. But I’m afraid to make a difference your going to have to be more like the French. Protest every day. Shut the country down. One protest every 3 months doesn’t effect change. Daily pressure does.

Every year, January to April, people accuse me of fearmongering in my reporting. Every year around this time, bills pass. And without fail, every year, the ratchet tightens. And now Idaho just passed a bill that could put me in prison for years—for washing my hands in a bathroom.

Erin Reed@erininthemorning.com

1. Idaho has passed the most extreme anti-trans law in the nation, a bathroom ban. The second offense would be 5 years in jail, and the 4th offense could lead to life in prison due to Idaho's 3 strikes law. It now heads to Governor Brad Little's desk. Subscribe to support our journalism.

It’s a shame humans are on track to go extinct before 2100. Going to miss the end of Pluto’s first year since discovery by 78+years. Current trend being acceleration, and inaction too. Wild. We have the technology, today. Just need to use it, and stop fucking it up. We just aren’t.

1. The Supreme Court just handed down its 5th anti-trans decision in less than a year. It could lead to forced outing of trans youth across the country, with 40 cases pending that it may impact. It also forces CA teachers to misgender some trans students. Subscribe to support our journalism.

this bill is legitimately a three-alarm fire. if they manage to define trans existence as explicit then there is nothing stopping them from genocide. i need every single cis person talking about this, calling their reps, getting out in the streets.

A thought I was cursed with is, if Congress moved to remove Trump, what would happen? Because, their dereliction of duty aside, I wonder how many of them believe the result would be his removal, and how many understand that he would go about removing them first. A shame we elected so many cowards.

@gluesenkampperez.house.gov This. This, and banning healthcare for trans kids. This is what you vote for. More money, for ICE? A year into them grabbing people from their court appearances. A year into them deporting citizens, children, workers, committing murder behind masks? You’re kidding.

People always talk about lower dimensional beings as 2D, and flat, but, it must depend on what you’re talking about. What about excluding itself from being an observer, determining quantum states? Allowing it to see quantum states, which. Would be important for higher dimensional alterations?

The curiosities get more fun with that. Ahh, a 3D object. It doesn’t have time. So it’s in a fixed point, and cannot interact with energy, momentum, photons, nothing? May be an interesting stab at dark matter. Instead we get pumped about how we show a geometric fourth dimension on a screen? Okay.

Everybody always gets stuck on geometry, and ignore functions. Like if something could remove itself from the cause/effect chain reality operates in? It’d essentially have actual free will? Still unprovable. It always just seems like such a narrow field of theoretical mechanics. </showerthoughts>

I do so hate it when I start googling symptoms, and it’s just like, “yeah, go to the ER like yesterday.” Going to be a fun night.
